Now you need to take off those fork reflectors. ;D

Did not come with 696 / italian flag sticker.
Looking good, thanks for sharing. [thumbsup]
I see yours is the + model or whatever it is that comes with the windscreen and cowl. Do you have any pics of the cowl perhaps? Thanks. It looks great.
schweet!
take a pic of the gauge pod lit in semi or out right dark conditions :)
very cool.
I'm sure it's been mentioned but I am too lazy to find it (cue the scolding the admin about the search button....).... can you tell me what's behind the gas tank vents? functional air intakes or blanks?
and a plus one to the request for shots of the instruments active.
ride reports are more than welcome...get some riding in and post up.
congrats on the bike.
from looking at the naked 696 thread, its the intakes for the airbox.

The inlets are functional. not a straight shot like on the superbikes, but curve down to the filter.

Thank you.
that does make me like the bike a lot more. I can't buy a lexus is-f because of the fake exhaust tips. this I can absolutely live with.

Yes. the seat is like an old skool banana seat.
how hard does a tailchop look?
does anybody know the story aftermarket cans for it?
Sexy as hell ;D
im looking to chop the tail on my 696 too, but it looks like its going to be more difficult than I thought. I could just be stupid but it looks like you pretty much have to use the aftermarket fender eliminator kit to do it right. Its all plastic with no frame to cut, and I cant figure out where I would re-hang the plate and whatnot. Any help??
Ya I have been looking at it. To be the largest issue seems to be where to mount the rear blinkers ? I suppose we can make something; but at that point it would be more cost effective to just buy the kit. Shame it isn't released yet....
i ordered the kit back in march when i bought the bikes....
ill post you a bunch of pics when it arrives if you want to try to "improve" it....;)
Thanks for the pics!
I removed the reflectors the minute it hit the driveway. The ones on the fork were stubborn.

Hehe - funny. I left my reflectors on thinking that I'll ditch 'em once I get around to 'em. The very next day when I got the bike out of the garage I noticed that one fell off. 1/2 way through the ride, my friend pulls me over and says "Dude, shit is flyin off of your bike !" So thinking the worst, I look at the seat cowl, belt covers, etc. Then I notice the other reflector is gone [thumbsup]
A little WD40 and you never knew they were ever there.
I had the same thing happen to me today. Second day on the bike - 70 miles or so riding around town - and I feel something hit my right shin and go bouncing off behind me. At the next light I take a look and the right reflector had fallen off. Just popped off the other one.
