There are several posts about the AS-12 on the No Moto Content/show off your guns thread. I posted up about it and linked the same vid. All the former military folks say that no branch has adopted the AS-12 and there are no plans to do so. Still a neat gun. Would love to see a more detailed vid on field stripping it and more detail on the parts that make it up. Check out the thread, good stuff on it! [thumbsup]

D'oh!  [roll] Didn't know you'd already posted it on the thread. I do look at that thread regularly but haven't in the past few days. Well, it was taken off of TV for crying out loud. Therefore I knew it was bound to be true....right?  ???

For a LOT less money you could get a Saiga 12 gauge with a removeable 12 round magazine locally in DFW...

If you can't stop it with that you shouldn't have been make the beast with two backsing with it.  ;)

No kidding! What's that great self defense line: You stop shooting at them when they stop doing whatever it is that made you want to shoot at them in the first place. [thumbsup]

I have been inquiring about that Saiga around town already and it seems that it has many configurations. 12 round mag seems good enough. Actually I just thought that in auto mode it would be fun to shoot.
