Title: Greetings from rainy Seattle
Post by: Dave696 on March 29, 2010, 07:20:04 PM
I purchased my first Ducati at Ducati Seattle a few weeks ago, and it is a 2010 Monster 696. This will be my forth motorcycle, but first Ducati. My last bike was a Suzuki SV650S, kind of a transition bike from the inline fours to the V-twins. The bike prior to that one was a Kaw 600 Ninja.
I have approx 300 miles on the new bike, since the weather hasn't been that good lately.

Welcome and congrats on the 696! [thumbsup]

When you get a chance, please stop in at your local group, NorthWest (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=27.0), and introduce yourself there.

Oh, and we love bike pictures, so feel free to share a larger one of your avatar if you like. ;D

Sounds like a fun progression of bikes.  Hope your weather clears up soon! [moto]

The Avatar I show is not my bike, I was looking for larger windscreen, and found a nice looking one at a Japanese site, Moto Works. JP. They sell several carbon parts for the 696.

Thanks for the welcome.
