for all those buying new Monsters:
I'll take all those megaphone exhaust and sell them to cheerleaders. Too bad they didn't finish the frame out in red on that picture and moreover didn't address the FUGLY exhaust and cross-over pipe (in front of clutch). Personally those two things are deal breakers for me if I was in the market. [bang] [bang] [bang]
i think it looks pretty cool... i have to restate my opposition to the "alien" headlight, but otherwise the look works for me. and why do you care about the stock exhaust anyway? you would just be replacing them five seconds after buying the bike... as for the exhaust, i guess i'm not seeing why it's "fugly"... just because the pipe from the front cylinder is routed above the clutch instead of below the engine?
I am impressed with some of the colour options.
This one looks great and works really well with the red frame.

pipe should be underneath the bike and can be had for another $2700 or so with a full termi system (way over priced). to me it's simply not to my taste and the cans don't fit the mold IMO. The color options, however are incredible and worth every penny.
It looks pretty good to me. Good colors too
I dont think a full system for the small displacement monsters has ever existed from Ducati. Most retain the stock header pipes
it does for the 1100 but don't know about the smaller ones.
if you can't get exhaust for the smaller monsters and the title reads "796" why even bring it up? it doesn't say 1100.
because I can and it aggravates you. 8)

My 800 had full exhaust options.

Ah, good to know. Wasn"t sure that option was there for the S2R800 from the factory. My M620 was slip-ons only.
in fact, the exhaust I have on my S4 are originally for the S2 my wife now rides.
I'm ready to ride one of these beasts myself.
'skrat needs to quit complaining so much [laugh]
