This was a popular thread last year so I'm bringing it back. As Spring is upon us, drop a note here on the road conditions (good and bad) to help each other avoid roads that are in bad shape.

smooth but the fear of getting ticketed for going 5mph over. :-\
I was on Wooley rd (west milford)last weekend. Loose gravel and sand in nearly ALL of the corners across the whole road!!! I don't know what the hell happend up there, but stay off Wooley for a while until the cages have mofre of a chance to push that stuff to the side.
Old Silverlake Road in the Poconos is in need of a SERIOUS resurfacing. Was there a few weeks ago - damned near bounced off the bike!
5-0 out in heavy presence on the Palisades, both ways, nabbing speeders. Make sure you have a rabbit!

What's a rabbit? Radar detector? Or sometimes I call speeders ahead of me rabbits because I like them to go through the briar patch and attract the cops before I do.... disabled vehicles do the same kind of thing in VA at least.

Everywhere did, don't forget the torrential rains we got which destroyed sections of road.

The FDR from Brooklyn Bridge to GWB is a nightmare. I havent been on it for a month or so. Rode on it once, and never went back.
