Curious if anyone has tried the yellow or bronze mirrored exovision shield? I can't find one on hand locally to see for myself. My commute to work is at 10pm, so the low light visibility would be nice. I am more concerned about my commute home at 9am, directly into the sun for most of the route. I am really curious as to how the shield reacts to bright light.
I might have to nominate myself as the test dummy.
speaking from experience with yellow/amber tinted goggles in regards to paintballing and snowboarding, general they tend to... even things out. your shadows get a little lighter, your bright lights get a little dimmer. im not sure if these "exovision" shields are meant to be that way, but it sounds like it. It's kinda like "HD" for your helmet. It just makes it a little bit easier to see, well, everything. As far as killing a sun in your face, i guess you'd have to be the hamster [thumbsup].
they work really well if you're riding through a road that is under a lot of tree cover with sun peeking through the branches. it does a good job at killing off that instantaneous glare from the sunbeams peaking through..
