got my first bike a few days ago, a 06 monster 620 dark. i have been riding the back roads around here all weekend with a buddy of mine and now im hooked, i can see my mustang getting neglected this summer! i found this place while i was looking for parts and figured i would sign up and try to learn a thing or two, well take it easy.
u in the navy?
Welcome and congrats on your first bike! :)
This is a great place to learn about riding and Ducs. If you haven't already, I also highly recommend taking an MSF course, great way to learn more about riding and dealing with traffic. [thumbsup]
When you get a chance, stop in and say hi to your local group, M-ROC (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=36.0).
Oh, and we love bike pictures so please feel free to show off your 620. ;D
Have fun, ride safe! [moto]
im in the 82nd airborne so im down in fayettnam, i take it your in the navy? im a big fan of wilmington and i see a lot of your people down there, and i will def be taking the duc down there this summer! now i understand why all my buddies who own bikes take long trips on the weekends i already put a little over 300 miles on mine this weekend and it didnt even feel like i rode half that many, so if there is something going on hit me up and ill see if i can make it. since im in the military im going to have to take the msf course and the best part is that i wont even have to pay for it, and here is a pic of my ride.

Awesome and your bike looks great! [beer]
thanks, its bone stock at the moment. it only had 4200 miles on it when i bought it so i dont think it was ridden very much, but i plan on changing that. im on ebay right now knocking out a list of things like frame sliders, a tail chop, new mirrors ect, so i will be down in my storage unit working on her for sure this weekend.
Nice bike and the best color!! you can do some free mods also like painting the sprocket cover, and belt covers black, remove reflectors, and chop the tail. MROC has slowed waaaaaaay down there is not much traffic there but people do check it from time ti time. Ride safe. [thumbsup]
thanks bro, i dont even think ive ever seen a ducati cruising around on post, but ill have to check the page to see if anything is ever going on around here. we have four days off this weekend, and work/riding has already been planed.
