Just a shame the warranty doesn't transfer with the bike.
It's an expensive bike to own for that reason.

well warranty is only 2 years anyway ?
if it was an aus delivered bike and within 2 years then stat warranty would apply
now with the dollar so good, who wants to go halves ?? ;)
The warranty is owned by the first purchaser only no matter where the bike is bought.
During the first two years of ownership the bike requires a rebuild which cost much $$$$
This is what I'm told by the owners here in Australia.
Then after the two years I certainly would not like to maintain the bike.
and as i stated most would be out of 2 years warranty by now
and in aus statutory warranty would apply which means not just to the original purchaser
just because ducati says that they will only provide warranty to the original purchaser does not mean that is the law
True but you'd have to be buying it from a dealer to get any kind of warranty.
If you are buying it privately you get a driveway warranty.
That's a lot of valves to adjust (16).

that would all depend on if it still has factory warranty coverage which iirc is still 2 years even ona desmo
if it is still within the warranty period then stat warranty would still apply , dept of fair trading would have a field day
even more ammunition that a 100K motorcycle should be working
you would of course need to ensure that the service history is up to scratch

That explains the lowered price. The bike is actually on fire.
