Title: Pants to go with Ducati Nero jacket?
Post by: millsap2 on June 02, 2010, 07:56:20 PM
New Monster owner and new forum member.

I got the Ducati Nero jacket for Christmas and am looking for a good set of riding pants to match.

Also just curious for anyone who has this jacket. I am a 40R suit jacket and the my Nero is a 56. This fits pretty comfortably and has good sleeve length, but I am wondering if I shouldn't be wearing a couple sizes smaller. Thoughts?

I got a set of the 09 Speed pants. At first they seemed way too tight, but after just a few minutes my lower half adjusted to the fit. I wore them around the house for about 45 minutes and I could say with some certainty they would be okay for an all day ride. Just be careful with the knee pucks. I managed to breakoff some door trim in my house.  [laugh] I think the Nero should have a zipper to connect the pants as well.

If you are a 40R in a suit jacket, that 56 is far too big.  You should be much closer to a 50.

Agreed. Dainese sizing runs fairly true, compared with most properly cut suits.

Dang, that's what I was afraid of.  Anyone in the market for a very lightly used 56?
