thought it was a text to many, didn't seem like sensitive info, but I get your point.
-Poof-
Rock it TIGRE!!! Mind over matter! The will and the skill, do ILL on that pill!
Via text from il TIGRE:
"Gogo playing mind games. Came up and walked into my pit this morning without a word. Went out behind me in practice again and passed me. Game on! There is another open twins guy who is under 1:56 so could be three way battle for 3rd.
….......,,,.......,,,.........,,,......
Plot thickens. Gogo's bike is leaking oil and smoking in the pits. If motor is blown, i probably will not leave a plastic tiger on his gas tank as i had been planning..."
Me:
"HA HA! sweet! Can I post this up on the board?"
TIGRE:
"Sure!"
Open Superbike (Race 5): Tigre got 7th or 8th with a 1:54.3 fast lap. He reported he wasn't pushing too hard.
Open Twins (Race 10): Tigre got second in Open Twins with a 1:53.4 fastest lap. I assume Chris Siglin won it because James Randolph was a DNS. Nick Haymen of Munroe Motors was 3rd, I assume on his 999. GoGo on his KTM SuperDuke was 4th. That result should bring Tigre within 9 points of GoGo for 3rd in the class.
Congrats, Tigre. [thumbsup]
Yesssss.... [thumbsup]
Good work Tigre!
Badass. 98 degrees in Willows today.
Wow, nice going! [clap]
Open GP (Race 12): 7th place. Steve said he "put the hurt" on people, which he'd have to do starting from 22d on the grid. 1:55.5 best lap.
Il TIGRE via Tex:
"I beat gogo. He finished 4th. I diced w him a bit on the first lap. I go off the line better. He passed me going into 2. I passed him going into 9. He pasred me back in 9. I came up alongside him in 10 but couldn't pass. I passed him on the back straight and he wasn't close enough to pasr back. then i just checked out. I threw down a 1:53.5 on my second lap and that was it. Just held the gap."
w00t!!! [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
Nice one Tigre. [thumbsup]
that's badass!
Rockin'!
Also I think you should leave piles of tiger shit in GoGo's pitt.
(You can actually buy it as it supposedly keeps critters away from your garden (http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/topstories/914877.zoo_auctions_tiger_poo/) or some such)
GRRRRRRRR!!!
Now GoGo is the imaginary rival like Min use to be?
Thanks for all the well-wishing, folks!
It was great to have the bike running well all weekend and get some quality seat time. Even though conditions were WINDY on friday/saturday, I still got in good laps and got familiar with the new added grunt. Bike is NICE. A longer writeup coming later.
DTM -- you have been out of the loop. GoGo called me out on his thread on Barf, declaring the "battle for 3rd in Open Twins in on" (when he had an 18 point lead sitting in 3rd, me in 4th).
BTW: I think this will put me within 7 pts of Gogo -- because James was a DNS, the points gap from 2nd to 4th is higher than 3rd to 5th.

Tell him he looks really dumb on that KTM...like he belongs on a dirt track or something ;D
I think it's 9 pts. 2nd is 30 + starters beaten. 4th is 21 + starters beaten. So you get 9 points on him.
As of Rd 3, you were at 82 and he was at 100. So you're 9 pts back after Rd 4.
But I beat two more starters than he did, so 11.

Ah, good point. 7 pts it is. Noice.

Way to go,Tiggy! [wine]
Nick did well to beat Gogo at the last round. I'm hoping he can do it again at Thill -- give me more of a buffer. I still suspect GoGo will be a problem at the next Sears round....
Does GoGo have his write-up yet on BARF? I'm interested to see what he has to say this time.
He'll likely mention how he was out-powered.
Probably. That seems to be a theme, but it's not a completely false claim, is it? I'm just mostly curious about hearing another rider's perspective who was so close to Tigre. It's fun hearing the two different sides.
I'm curious to see his write-up. I will get an honorable mention, I'm sure.
Curious also to see how he spins it... I suspect this will be the story:
-"I don't have enough horsepower"
-"I don't have enough aerodynamics"
His choice to race that bike. He rides it ridiculously well -- 1:54.6 on a dirtbike is not make the beast with two backsing around.
[moto]
How were his T-Hill 749R times? And was that before or after repaving?
pre-repaving, he was around 54.8 on his 749R and 52.8 on his 999R.
These are DBCom times, so +/- ~5 seconds.

Yup, it's pretty much all about you. [laugh]
Better than I expected write up.
I thought Steve had decided against the tiger-on-the-tank prank given that GoGo's bike was hemorrhaging oil. Guess not. [laugh] Brutal. Just brutal. [thumbsup] Keep frosty around him, Steve, he's playin' for keepsies!
I waited to see until they had it going again. Once I saw it was working, I went for it.
I've got something lined up for next round, too. :)

Where are you in the total points standings in Open Twins versus him? He said he had an 18 pt. lead over you.
He's only got 7 points on me now.
James Randolph's crash in Formula Pacific meant that beating GoGo by 2 positions gave me 11pts (2nd vs 4th) instead of 10pts (3rd vs 5th).

Its time to break out the tiger costume again. Have some one put it on, roll by his pit on the tiger scooter. Stop in front, make a "pawing" gesture at him and scoot off. no words said.
Singing telegram, perhaps?
