I just saw a Ducati Monster Turbo on ebay. Interesting concept. But, I think it looks funny...
Has anyone seen this before?
What are your thoughts? Good? Bad?

Interesting. Not my cup of tea, but I'd love to see it in person. I'll bring extra ear plugs. [bang] [laugh]
It looks like a plumbing nightmare. I appreciate the effort but...
The headlight is too high. It's throwing off the lines.
check out duccutters.com
lots of boosted ducs.
A few turbo cars I've driven have a major boost of torque that comes on very suddenly.
I can't imagine that being a good thing on a bike. Though I'm sure you could adjust it right if it was a good system.
[roll] ???
I give credit for the work, not much credit for the aesthetics though. To each his own, I would like to hear it/see it in action though.

my friend has a turbo's bike, you put one so tiny on it the boost is INSTANT like the torque curve of a duc, if it isn't you have too big of a turbo and a traction nightmare. if you know what you are doing it isn't too bad
There are a lot of turbo specific mods that have been done to this bike that I like from a mechanical stand point. If you *were* after a turbo'd M900, this is one I would seriously look at.
Aesthetically, there are many trashcans that would LOVE to have that headlight assembly! Imagine the sound it would make as you hit it with your favorite hammer! Yummy....
Not realy my thing, but i would like to take it for a ride [drink]

pretty freaking cool if you ask me. [beer]
Abortion comes to mind.
Hey I think it's cool, and since he's only a few hours away I've already sent him an email to try and poach it away... [moto]
I'd be diggin' it with a stock headlight. Very Mad Max. [thumbsup]
Damn, and to think I just drove through Fayetteville today. Wish I woulda known about this!
I think its quite nice overall. If I could afford to have my way with it, I would change the headlight assembly for sure, clean up the oil cooler line routing, tip off the exhausts, and BSTs [evil] Didn't see a mention stating the pistons were indeed forged or not, but I'd make sure of that and maybe throw in some stronger valves.
Overall I think its a very tight, sensical and good looking build. I'd certainly like to own it. Wonder what the reserve is?...
Not my idea of a beautiful beast.
Still in love w, my 1098 R and S 1000 RR.
Dolph :)
I appreciate the engineering and fab work... [thumbsup] if not the actual aesthetics [puke]

Some beasts aren't meant to beautiful, this bike included, but that doesn't necessarily take away from it.
