I suppose there's no way to do a ranked vote? This is a very tough choice! If we could rank choices it might help narrow it down to a final two.

I haven't voted yet because I just can't decide. The good part is that I'd be happy with any of these.

That was a really hard decision :-\  I think that all of them should be available for t-shirts no matter what one becomes the official design.  That way people can wear DMF shirts five days a week and don't need to wear the same one ;D

BTW Why does it say ducati monster forum . org on it? are we changing the url cause that would make more sense ;D

At some point, we hope to change the url.  We own that name and our current name, we just need to do it at some point.  Maybe when we roll out smf  2.0?

I voted, but can't see how many votes any of them have received so far.  I don't know if that's good or bad.

The logo from M1Moto is the easiest to recognize from a distance and looks best as a simple sticker.  I'll be happy to put one of those on the back of my ST2 where the other sticker used to be, before I peeled it off and burned it.

But they all look good.

i dont ride a Monster, but I think MMakay with the Trellis frame in the logo is a great idea!!!

Very professional work by all,  and a very difficult choice.  I don't know hoe feasable it is, but I like Mac_48's idea of all designs being available as T shirts regardless of winner.

I like the simplicity of Ducatini's but not too crazy about the "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" colors.  Yes, I know it's the Italian flag colors.  [cheeky]

DuCaTiNi â€" I like the feel of speed and movement in the logo, its that vroooom moving past me; but the colours are seasonal, ya Italian colours etc, but it feels seasonal; also the logo reminds me of an oil logo or a car product; or is it Nass-car-ish? …. But its very good … hummm

m1moto â€" DMF stands out good; I like that puny; cheekiness; clutch & Ducati logo nice refrences; maybe too much going on in the graphic?  But the complexity is good …it would make a punchy logo sticker …. hummmm

mmakay â€" red dot; trellis frame ref good; maybe the trellis frame needs a little work; turn it more Ducati logo line ? … I don’t know; good logo potential; it stands alone … hummmm

corey â€" this one seems to grab me; perhaps its the historical refrence with the scrambler logo, good punchy logo … not the easiest thing to reproduce though …. Also if the model had b…. Oh!  maybe I cant say that (is that your GF?, she’s cute but a little young lookin)….might get more votes.

RodeoClown â€" DMF really stands out ; good … perhaps more “texty” less logoish; less graphic like thasn others; but the DMF is the graphic ....    hummmm

I too liked my original wing with the 80s font as well, but when it boiled down to good composition, and good legibility (especially to other riders who may not be so intune with the duc world), the newer ducati font (univers, incase anyone didn't know) is a much more solid choice. But, if it wins, and people decide otherwise, i'm always open for more change ;D

Fair enough.  I prefer ascetics over acceptance of the masses, especially the non-ducati rider. Maybe we can make a batch of stickers/t-shirts with the OG design.

I've already started searching for a source for shoulder patches. I'm planning on doing them in sets of two, one for left and right. I will plan on having both versions (80s font and new font) available. All proceeds that go above covering production will go to dmf fund of course ;D

Two versions at this time, like what M1moto showed in his 'layout': black with white logo, white with color logo, both versions will have the logo front and back.
Pricing is not finalized at this time.

Yep, and a new favicon in the adress bar ^

If you can't see it, you might have to re-bookmark the site, or even delete all your IE temp files, then re-bookmark it.  If your favicons don't appear in mozzilla / firefox, then do a google for it, there is a change in the about:config needed.

not that anyone cares a damn about my opinion (although i have saved toasty)

the little "favicon" or whatever it is on the left side of the page looks terrible in color. it would look much better in a "Ti- like" color against the board background.

like i said, thats just little old herm and his opinion 8)

Really?  Is it your monitor?  All new icons look good on both my puters.  Can you do a right click and properties and tell me the file name of which icon it is you are talking about?

BigBear, I used to live in South Africa and I send my family stuff all the time.  I have tried FedEx and UPS before but it was very expensive shipping to SA. So now I only use the US Postal Service - cheaper and just as reliable. I have found that if the parcel goes to a business address the chances of  it going "missing" (South African for a postal worker stole your stuff) is very slim.

I'm sure once the bling is fabricated it will not be too difficult to send one over to Darkest Africa. (´n Boer maak ´n plan)

We may need to get some info from you (when you order) as to which shipping company will work best, but AFAIK, that's the only issue.

M1moto seems to have gotten it sorted out, but we'll do our best to get you your goods the best way.
