I hope Ducati dump Stoner on his bonnie whining ass or he f#*k's of to Honda,so we don't have to listen to the little boy cry anymore [puke]
This way some one more committed will take Ducati to the next championship
Hayden is much more entertaining and he tries f#*king hard too, he should be an Aussie [thumbsup]
I would love to see the # 46 on the Ducati [drool]

The only real solution Ducati has for Stoner is to give him back the screamer engine - that suited his riding style. Stoner may whinge but when he is on the money he is still the only person that really has a chance of putting the Ducati on the podium!
Hayden? Please! They guy has the personality of a dial tone - he was a bigger whinger than Stoner when he was with Repsol - always down and pessimistic about the Honda. I met him at the Island at the Subway in Cowes - 10 minutes of my life I will never get back!
Maybe it is time for Stoner to move...
Anyhow doesnt matter this year - without Rossi this is Jorge's championship to lose!
Personally I have always been a Nicky fan, he tries his ass off every session on the bike.
Sure he did carry on at Honda but it was only when the Dani Bot show was in town, the team instantly favoured
the other side of the garage with Spanish Repsol money.
Stoner can ride for sure but if you can't adapt to whatever bike the team make it shows his one dimensionality.
Speaking there of, I saw the most animated interview/chat with him on OneHD in the qualiy show.
He must have just had a tub'n'rub with Mrs Stoner. [cheeky] [cheeky]
Oh and love that bike but isn't grog money illegal kinda like smoker's money.

My exact thoughts. In my opinion Ducati has now made a machine not for one specific rider... but a more adaptable machine,Giving the team the ability to head hunt with greater success.Stoner has no longer the custom fit machine from the past, which is clear in the progress of Hayden, and also exposes the lack of Stoner's ability to addapt.

I beg to differ here guys - we still havent had any real success from Hayden - close as he is getting he probably will get a podium this year, but I would be surprised to see if he actually wins any races for the rest of the season. If the Ducati is meant to be a more adaptable machine why is the satellite teams still having difficulties?
You may be correct in thinking Stoner in one dimensional, but I like to think he is the only person that has taken a raw brute of a machine and twisted it to win on the track - the fact they (Ducati) are taming (or making it adaptable as Doc put it [cheeky]) in my opinion is making it less competitive. Since when have Italians been adaptable?? ;D
As for head hunting, well Livio is over with Honda now.......
Yeah I see your point(s) I guess though it's the fact that less people are Stoner fans.
That he is not doing so well this year makes it easier to give it to him.
For me though it's the fact of his single dimension personality just doesn't win fans.

I hope you are joking. When you say adaptable who has adapted to it? There are five ducatis in Moto GP and the best of the rest is fourth place. 2)That bike was never custom fit to Stoner, he fell into the job after two other riders refused to sign for Ducati. 3) Hayden fell down last race due to front end issues the same as Stoner and the best he has done so far is fourth. 5)Adapt, Stoner is the only rider that has adapted from riding any other factories machine and won a world championchip, Id say he's pretty adaptable, the fact speak for themselves.

Yeah I definitely agree with you there Mattyvas - Stoner never has nor never will be media savvy - very Doohanesque in that aspect - he lets his racing do the talking! [thumbsup]

that was an awesome Moto2 race! [moto] ;D
AND just reinforces what I said about Hayden.... [cheeky]
we wont comment about Stoner...still rode brilliantly.... [thumbsup]
I'm getting to the point that I'd prefer to watch the Moto2 race than the GP bikes they way things are going.
Moto2 race was BRILLIANT!
If possible , could you guys post up the times a race is on tv . That would be huge !Really get off on watching it, but never know when its on. [bang]
Good race. [thumbsup] Lorenzo rode brilliantly. Casey did fabulously well, from last to fifth deserves praise. [bow_down]
An enjoyable race this time. Sadly missing Vale, but so much other talent to enjoy. [thumbsup]

Yes that was a very entertaining race. Well done Spies. Casey did well to catch up in the end but was he daydreaming at the start line :o

ok for you eastern state folks (sydney)
Saturday 26th June - Assen
6:45pm - 125CC
8:00pm - Moto2 (wear your leathers for this, I know I nearly fell off the lounge watching Silverstone! [laugh])
In between lots of witty and intelligent commentary with Mumbles and Rusty
9:30pm - MotoGP - Casey's comeback! [moto]
AEST i.e. Adelaide everything is 30 mins earlier.
Hope that helps those folks that requested the times! [clap]

Casey on the front row, hopefully he can silence his critics tonight. Some crazy moto 2 racing , 12 laps to go and half the field have crashed out, Ant West in 11th.
man that crash at the finish of Moto2 was scary!! Go Casey - he'll be on a Honda with Livio next year - that man has a voice like Barry White! ;D

yeah cant believe that guy came out with bruises, considering the from the footage it looked as though the bike came down on top of him!!
the HD onboard of De Puniet's bike looked pretty cool - very clear vision, cant wait till they have one of those under the bike for the full cornering effect!
AND it seems mumbles was getting txt msgs (of course he would, he wouldnt get sxt msgs) from Japan saying the Stoner deal is done, just have to configure what the team configuration will be - obviously Casey will take some of his mechanics. Shame really as Ducati will now be massively relying on Rossi/JB to devolop that bike now....
It's all very interesting isn't it.
Every few years the silly season is quite fun people jumping all over the place.
I reckon CS looked a bit soft in the tail end of that race...
He didn't even try to challange his new team mate!! Even talked him up in the post race interviews!!!
The Doc woulda been all over Danni like a rash... I reckon CS had definetly signed for Repsol and has backed off already on the Duc... :(

He's gone...there's no red mist for the red bike anymore.
Will be interesting to see if The Doctor accepts the reported $15m ducati offer and takes his crew????
yeah, stoner was soft but then again what's the real incentive to push harder after signing with honda? It was clear in qualifying that there's no lovin in the ducati camp right now.
Stoner you Traitor >:(

gee how quickly we bag an aussie wanting to do better for himself. guess that is the usual aussie way! [clap]
Obviously Ducati is not listening to Stoner's input anymore - Ducati are hedging some big bets on Rossi!
Dont get me wrong I still love the Ducati - I think it is the best bike around, but I am a proud aussie too - love him or hate him you got to admit Stoner can ride the arse off that Ducati - no one else as yet can! [thumbsup]
If Stoner goes to Repsol would it be wrong to paint my Monster in Repsol colours?? [moto] ;D ;D ;D [laugh]
Fantastic! Rossi on a Ducati, now I can go for Rossi and not feel like a traitor!
(I was only screaming 'Go Casey' less than 24 hours ago, he's bloody good on that bike - and those last 8 minutes of qualifying were excellent!)
If Rossi is on Ducati next year, how many Ducatis will there be at the Island? ;D [moto]
They both have great talent and good luck to both of them.
Also good on them for switching camps to better themselves !! I wish I could do it.
How good was the Moto2 race last night.
Did anyone see the rider who finished 7th , he crossed the line doing cartwheels and his bike hit him twice, no injuries only bruising.
Unbelievable, really great racing.

I believe CS was trying hard, but when you don't have confidence in the front end, as he has been saying so far this season, I don't see how he could push without binning it. Then CS gets tags as a fast rider but always crashes - Tony Elias in MotoGP anyone? We just a have difference of opinion that is all, nothing personal. All cool? :)

All good mate... Just want people to know I'm not an Aussie bagger or one eyed Duc, just a race fanatic... I just got the (obvious) impression last night that CS was not going to push Danni (his new team mate) into making an error and the post race comments were creepy....

+1 on that!
The guy is a machine on a machine! Was good to see Stoner dice with Rossi to the end, as much as it would of been the 'fairy tale comeback' for Rossi to get a podium, I think Rossi still did damage psychologically. To come back after injury so soon and be THAT competitive says volumes. Throw Pedrobot in to the mix and I now don't think that Jorge will have it so easy now.
Some spectacular crashes too! - 125 and then MotoGP. De Puniet broke his tibia, so the bench mark has been set, in 6 weeks time......
Great racing last night as usual.
I can't see DePuniet getting back in 6 weeks can you?

Yeah I did actually - Rossi is normally the aggressor in the Stoner/Rossi confrontations. Seeing that pass at the end means that Stoner has confidence growing in the front end of that Ducati. If Stoner can get close to Dani as well I believe he will pass him. As long as Dani doesnt do his usual disappearing act at the front - it is well known Dani doesn't like to dice really - he likes to get out in front - similar to what Jorge does but Jorge knows how to dice as well.
However, come Laguna if Dani is in front of Stoner, AND Stoner doesn't pass, then yes I concur with your opinion! :) [thumbsup]
I really got to be more succinct in my opinion!
