Hi, name is Lani, in Seattle for the summer for work. I recently took and passed the MSF course because I was sick of hearing my dad talk about his youthful years motorcycling around Southeast Asia, and I was tired of always having to hire people drive me around on a motorbike there when I visited there so thought it was about time I learned how to ride a motorcycle myself.
I don't have a bike yet but I'm hoping to get my hands on a Honda Nighthawk for a year before I get a used Ducati Monster 696. Before now I've only rented 125cc scooters to get around when visiting foreign countries so don't really have an exact duration of how long I've been riding. Anything else... as crazy as I am about Ducati's I would also love to have a Triumph Bonneville... I have a thing for motorcycles that are a classic work of art or in Ducati's case, a modern work of art.
See you around on the forum!
;D

Welcome Lani! :)
Starting out on a beginner-friendly bike like the Nighthawk is a great idea, as was taking the MSF. [thumbsup]
Keep us posted on how it goes, we love bike pictures even of non-Ducs. ;D
Oh, when you get a chance, also stop by and introduce yourself to your local board, NorthWest (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=27.0).
Good luck, have fun! [moto]
Welcome and good luck.
