Anyone know how to remove the bar-end caps on woodcraft bars?? I need to take them off without damaging them... Thanks!
bar or wooden rod through and tap out with a mallet?
been wondering the same. i have bar end mirrors but then might be going back to regular.
i can only imagine a thin blade to slide out and to remove the flat end one then push through with a thin rod to push the other rounded end out.
I have a set on my track bike
it's almost impossible to take off without scarring them up. Best to call Woodcraft and order up some spare caps

amen. i used vice grips.
I used a rubber mallet and a chisel wedged between the end cap and bar. It worked great and left the cap in nearly perfect shape. No need to remove the other end cap and use a post to go through with this method. Just keep the chisel angled outward slightly so that it goes away from the metal bar (to prevent damage and to force the cap outward).
Wrap a hose clamp around the plug and pull it off woth pliers?
