sketchy
have to agree, never heard of them
I definitely wouldnt be sending anything to them just yet
Big shock, I'm going to say knock off! Pretty bold though, using Ducatis logo, photos and all. No contact info at all... yeah no.
Knock-offs. Run away screaming. I have seen a good handfull of these come through the shop. They are garbage. They almost look the part in the photos, but if you see it in person, you see what trash it is.
It even says right in their ad copy that they are "reproductions".
this is the domain registered contact of that shop. sorry not sending my money to Pakistan.

That guy has been around.
they are low quality, thin leather. a guy in nyc bought a set. they don't look bad from 10-15 ft away, but i would not trust my ass in them.
Fair enough, ill give it a miss. In AUstralia (where i am) Jackets are in excess of $1000, Thats for a basic one as well. Bloody expensive!

Can't you order one from the USA from Dainese D Store in San Fransisco for less than $1,000 ?
Dolph :)
I just splashed out and got the new ducati corse one from Frasers. Told them i can get it from the US for $1k and they matched it.

Yes it is a company that use to sell on ebay also, the jackets are repliaca and are made in very high quality leathers and workmanship, email address is: info@ducatileathers.com
they are decent quality, but they are not for riding. show only. no armor, nothing. leather is somewhat thin. funny you get on this board and post twice just for this... shilling for ducatileathers.com [thumbsup] and then never post again.
and the email address he used in his profile is info@ducatileathers.com

And now his posts have disappeared...
Really... please. If you're going to attempt to shill for a sketchy, knock-off product *at least* try a little harder to dupe us. Sure we're a bunch of loudmouths and dumb-asses... but we're smart dumb-asses.

I removed his posts until Statler and he can talk about doing the right thing...
which I doubt will ever happen.
If he doesn't he'll be banned when he posts his spam again.
And with regards to his product being sketchy...
I'd rather see a rider in a knock off suit than jeans and a t-shirt...not everyone can afford Dainese.
Ho hum.

there are knock-off suits and then there is crap. these are simply decorative. wear them to a party, but i'd trust jeans over that single-stitched leather anyday.

True true - but I'd rather see them in some lower priced stuff with a track record than some stuff that's really only 'fashion' tough. For the same prices that were on that site one could pick up stuff from Cortech/Tourmaster, FirstGear or an number of other manufacturers with a proven record.
But really it's about the sketchy shilling. That should let anyone know that the product might not be what it looks if someone affiliated business doesn't/won't step up and say "I make this stuff/work for that company and the stuff is real"
If I actually thought his product had merit...
His posts would be split out and left on their own.

I'd suggest that single stitched leather would outlast the garbage denim of today in a sliding type incident.
Don't get me wrong guys. I'm in no way endorsing his product, nor would I consider wearing it, and his posting 'style' leaves everything to be desired.
If you want us as admins to be kinder and gentler keep in mind it will spill over to everything. :-*
Did DP just offer to kiss on the first date?
- Keep up the good work. I know being a mod can be a very thankless job - so Thanks. [thumbsup]
