Title: Texas D.O.C.
Post by: junior varsity on July 09, 2010, 04:31:46 AM
I'm the President now.

We are planning to launch a full fledged community website for all Texas areas featuring various meetups, rides, events, etc.

No cost to you.

Not filled with ads (even from us).

I'll be doing a lot of communicating with people from all over to spread the word - I'd appreciate it if you could help me out. You can certainly go through me to get the 2010, 2011, 20xx etc Welcome Kit for Duc Owners.

And as the FB page "site" states: "We ain't be sellin' shit but T-Shirts"  (and that's only after I get some made).

FB Page: http://www.facebook.com/TexasDOC (http://www.facebook.com/TexasDOC)

Website: http://www.texasducati.com/ (http://www.texasducati.com/)

if those existed, we could. I will track down a puma rep, which will be a lot more likely to work with us. You know they have a Ducati line right?

I see that but these helmets do not fit my head, although for that price I might go try them on again and again and again until I convince myself.  [bang]

Rat - I was able to go down 2 sizes on my helmets after the lobotomy.  It was easy and my life seems so much more tranquil now.  Nurse Ratchett has been just wonderful.

I just signed up on the TDOC, I know it is still under construction but there is a required field that has no name. It looks like it becomes your screen name.

I noticed that too so I just put in my screen name and it seemed happy. Weird though.

I signed up, but it doesn't show me as being online... is there some sort of delay for new member "applications"?  Also, I fell victim to the "Blank Hole" box (screen name?), but I can't see how to change my profile.

The site looks like it could be fun.  Good to have a more local place to hang out.   Sort of an "e-Motopia", eh?

You bet. I can edit names on my side of things. We are still in the "under construction phase"
