Have you looked at Vanson?  They are "American" cut, are available in large sizes and can be custom fit.

A 62? Not sure how suit jacket sizes translate to the numeric sizes seen moto jackets.

I'm roughly your size - not a power lifter, but Rugby forwards build and I wear a 56 or 58 in Dainese euro size.

But warrens comment about Vanson has merit - pretty much any American gear makers fit model is more generous. Tourmaster/Cortech are american. I think First Gear is too. Quite sure Speed and Strength are as well.

But probably your best bet is to hit a moto store near you (if you have one) and start trying stuff on.

I know a lot of people don't like Icon, but they make jackets in pretty large sizes as well, but it's all S/M/L/XL/XXL, etc, so can't say which would be best without trying it on.

Before I started buying Dainese leather Jackets I bought quite a few Icon leather moto Jackets.

They are made pretty good w, Cowhide leather and CE armor in the Shoulders and Elbows /Fore Arms.

I wear a size US 50, EU size 60, but in the Icon Merc I bought XXLs plus for colder weather and layering I also bought 2 Retro Daytona Icon XXXLs and a Stealth Icon XXXXL.

They all came w, a foam Back Protector but I got a stand alone BMW Back Protector .

I bought the Icon Jackets I believe from sandhillsmotorsports.com for very good prices compared to advertised retail.

This has been about 4 years ago when I was 6'5",225, now 245.

Go custom.

This guy's got quite a following out west on BARF. Not sure when he's going to update his website, but he's got some nifty upgrades for 2010. I'll be ordering a suit from him within the next week or so.
