I just went to the bicycle shop to pick up a multi tool for a friend and was starting to think how my duc's kit was lacking. What are you using for an emergency took kit with limited storage space? Beyond tools anything else; duck tape, bailing wire?
I've got some more space with a Sargent seat. But I've got:
a set of allen keys
a adjustable wrench
Flash Light
Glow sticks
Needle nose pliers
There's still some more room - so I'm up for suggestions. A length of safety wire probably wouldn't hurt
Mine:
Needlenose
Vice Grips (small one)
various open end wrenches
crescent wrench
allen set
multi-bit screwdriver
air pressure guage
16mm deep socket
fuses
bulb
jb weld
safety wire
knife
mini flashlight
clutch lever
lighter
zig zags
needless to say, this doesn't fit under the seat, I pretty much always ride with a backpack, and keep the tool pouch in it
This is cool! Keep it coming. I am hoping to have more room once I make my own seat, but will probably also have the backpack for a while.
the all powerful, handy dandy, makes everything bright and shiney debit card
and a cell phone
I'm considering carrying a Canadian passport just in case
ooh... zip ties- never leave home without them

Never leave home without it [thumbsup] Not that the cell is always charged [bang]
cell phone, credit cards, and a Gerber multi-tool.
My Corbin seat doesn't have any kind of holder :( but I've been thinking I might take some measurements of what little space is under the seat and try to make some sort of box to fit in there so I can at least keep the 996 toolkit from ca-cycleworks under there
Set of allen wrenchs
Pliers
Ducati toolkit
Progressive Suspension tire repair kit
$20 in cash
Gerber 600 Multitool
Flattened 1/2 roll of duct tape
Several sizes of zip ties
Plug Wrench
Kickstand puck
Small flashlight
I've also have a Sargent seat, so I carry a set of plugs, socket and rachet for plugs, small box of spare fuses, allen wrenchs, small vise grips, and a reversible screwdriver wrapped up in a shop rag. If I'm riding out of town, in the tank bag I carry a Progressive Supension TRK-2 tire repair kit with about 6 CO2 cartridges and a bottle of Slime. Cellphone too if i can ever find it.
flashlight, multi-purpose tool, ear plugs, zip ties, map.
I found/evolved a pretty compact first aid kit, for anyone who's interested in something that's a reasonable tradeoff between space and utility:

It's an off-the-shelf kit from Lifeline, available at Fred Meyers, but modified by me as follows:
Buy Lifeline First Aid Kit (Fred Meyers).
Get a handful of zip sandwich bags.
Get a QuikClot Sport 50g (REI).
Get single use antibiotic packets (REI).
Get single use hydrocortisone packets (REI).
Get single use iodine prep pads (REI).
Get a 1 oz tube of SPF 40 sunscreen (REI).
Get some drugs.
Get an energy bar.
Get some foam ear plugs.
Toss the following Lifeline components:
scissors (that's assuming that you carry a knife or Leatherman)
warning sheet
whistle
"carabiner"
the band aid boxes (keep the band aids)
Remove half of the:
small band aids
medium band aids
butterfly closures
alcohol prep pads
benzalkonium prep pads
...and put 'em in your home medicine cabinet.
Sort all remaining band aids into a zip bag.
Sort all remaining gauze pads into a zip bag, along with the roll of gauze and the roll of tape.
Sort all remaining prep pads into a zip bag. Add 2 each of antibiotic packets, hydrocortisone cream, iodine prep pads (REI).
Roll up some TP, without the tube, and put it in a zip bag.
Put a dozen Q-tips in a zip bag.
Put 6 Aleve, 3 Benadryl, a couple Excedrin, and a couple Tylenol with codeine (or other prescription-strength pain killers) in a zip bag.
Put a small tube of sunscreen (REI) in a zip bag.
Put 4 foam earplugs in a zip bag.
Put the bag of gauze pads in the right side of the Lifeline kit. Stuff the triangle bandage, gloves, and a ballpoint pen behind it. Add your favorite energy bar.
Put everything else but the QuikClot and the TP in the left side.
Sandwich the QuikClot and the TP between the halves, and zip that sucker closed.
Expandable allen wrench set
multi bit mini screwdriver
flashlight
tire plug kit
most of the time I hve my backpack and the small kit fits nicely into it or for short trips, my tank bag.
