I love the headline picture on MotoGP.com at the moment. Rossi always smiling and his arm around Pedrosa while the 'bot stands there with the most forced smile I think I have seen from him yet this season.
Those guys seem SO close. [popcorn]
Rossi reportedly made a comment about liking Dani more than Max. ;D

Never shake a baby!
Always stir.
Why does everybody hate Pedrosa so much?
I mean . . . I do too, but I'm not sure why.

estoril 2006
lots of thinly veiled holier-than-thou-type comments
zero personality
size makes him an easy target
fun to do
the fact that with a spanish series owner, spanish sponsor, spanish rider.. even after winning the championship nicky is a 2nd class citizen
...oh, you didn't want a real answer? ;)
i like him... but i only care what he does on the racetrack. that kid is 97 or 98lbs of fierce. [laugh]

I think those are the main reasons I don't like him. After reading some of the earlier posts in this thread i started thinking, and I couldn't remember the last time i heard anyone say anything positive about Pedrosa. I guess its not really fair, he's a great rider. Still, ... I can't stand him.
he represents the lollypop guild and repsol quite nicely.

to be fair, the first one (that you listed) isn't his fault.
and i think he really struggles to communicate well in english, which would turn the apparent slant of things said in the media one way or another. not that he isn't kinda douchey as far as i can tell.. but i bet the language thing has a fair amount to do with that. he is always way more emotive when speaking spanish.
whatever.. he's fast as hell, precise, consistent, and really tough. esp for being that small. and while it was the worst possible moment to do something completely boneheaded i'll never believe he actually meant to deliberately take out nicky. which is not to say that i think he has any inkling of 'team spirit'.. i'm sure he doesn't.
you're right, it absolutely isn't fair and its irrational. And if i'm totally honest, I don't really even dislike him all that much. Pedrosa-Hating has just become sort of a game I do for fun. I just can't believe a six year old is able to ride that bike like he does. FINE, I'LL ADMIT IT. . . I . . . LOVE. . . DANI PEDROSA. There, I said it. i think im gonna hurl :-\
let's not get carried away.... =)
I preferred Pedrosa in his 250cc days, it was soooo nice watching him humiliate Lorenzo.
I used to be like [popcorn], then [laugh] when Lorenzo would enter his box and start kicking stuff around and getting his panties in a knot.
I´m evil, I think.

i did that on an SV650 one time, but i saved it. [cheeky]
Pedrosa took me out in a race on MotoGP 07 for Xbox, I've had a vengeance ever since...

Thats too funny...my five year old daughter mentioned "that rider " (Lorenzo, after he overshot a corner) "rides like a little girl". I have no idea why she said that.

stuck to the wall like a pair of dirty panties
Its the new velcro safety fence.
It has been very sad to see PedroBot (that kills me [laugh]) having such a hard time lately! His pucker tolerance must be on verge of being superhuman/alien :-X because as much as he wrecks, he still rides amazingly well.
Anyway, while they were operating on his hand from the crash in Germany, they wanted to check for brain damage so they hooked him up to a computer and found something very disturbing. :o
They were able to capture only one image from the download.........
(sensetive viewers should not view the following image)
A heated argument apparently broke out among the doctors as to whether they were plugged into his brains Pain center or Pleasure center. ;D
Repsol engineers have called in experts from NASA to help analyze the image and it's profound implications. They are unsure what connection this new information has to his series of crashes this season.
More information will be made available as we are updated by TEAM REPSOL.
Until then..... [beer]
BTW... all the best to our little spanish yard knome. [thumbsup]
and.............Yeah Vale!!!!!
My hate for Pedrosa is simple math.
Everyone starts at 0 and he lost massive points for taking out a teammate who was in a close battle for the championship. He could gain points for personality, but he has none. He actually reminds me of Alonso in F1 which isn't good either. He could gain points for skill on the track, but he he sort of loses credibility when his recent world championship winning teammate can't seem to get the same support from the team ... kinda makes you wonder.
+1 spot on
