I'd personally love to see the boys duke it out at Interlagos. That track is insanely fast and has the potential to host some real barnburners. Any places you'd wish were on the schedule?
Street course thru Newark
Miller.
Easier to get to than Indy (for me)...and cheaper with better access (for me again) than Laguna. [cheeky]
+1 on Miller. It's a great venue, even if it is on the wrong side of the country from me.
Personally, I wish they'd revamp Sears' Point so it could host a GP.
I'm dreaming of course because they'd have to pretty much redo the track from scratch for that to happen.
Hell, as long as I'm dreaming, they should move Laguna Seca closer to SF and get rid of all the neighbors who complain about noise.
Barber isntead of Indy.
like sears, they'd barely get out of 2nd gear at barber.
I just don't see Indy as a true track and Barber is a lot closer to me. If we're talking about pue speed, then Road Atlanta.

Exactly. if we're dreaming, I might as well keep it accessible to me.
Spa-Francorchamps
a GP in South America maybe?

Would cost more $ than even God has. But yes, that'd be awesome. Then again, GP bikes would suck at that course. Highly technical, no straightaways to speak of--other than the super-short drag strip--and a whole bunch tighter than Laguna.
I wanna see them at Isle of Man. :o Or one of the F1 courses that go through the middle of a city.

I know, but coralling and riding a dinosaur around the isle is a lot different than a modern GP bike. ;D Besides, if they ran IOM, I could watch the race in HD on the Discovery Channel 5 times a day.

not enough runoff... wall of champions would be naaaaasty.
I thought if the GP cars ran there it was a "legal"/safe track for the bikes
i gotta say it is an amazing track ...next to the water ...so enjoy getting up there for the Canadian GP
Seriously, Interlagos is one baaad track

I wouldn't. If only for the fact that I would jizz in my pants every time I heard the Duc screaming through the tunnel.

fim and fia have different homologation requirements...
just look at the walls and lack of runoff here:

fwiw, the wall of champions (~0:42) got it's nickname because of the number of people that have hit it.

+1 and +1
+2 for Isle of Man
Seconding Road America. GOD I love that place. Plus the sheer number of places you can watch the race from, the history of the place and the GREAT places to eat that surround the lake...oh hells yeah.
And why not bring the USGP back to BIR? Brainerd is another great fast track.
Since everyone is nominating their local tracks, I'll also throw in VIR.
Nurburgring old course. 20 laps, that should separate the men from the boys ;D

+1 in the Full Course configuration....
Brazil - just to give me one more excuse to go there that doesn't involve round asses.
Realistically: I'd prefer Miller over Indy.
Unrealistically: Long Beach Baby! Complete with all the Hollywood razzmatazz. Lorenzo Lamas would jump an actual shark tank. And best of all - Celebrity GP. "Oh no! Brad Pit has put his machinery into the scenery. Slamming into the wall of the first straight in a fireball, it looks like Angelina will be a widow tonight. But wait, Pamela Lee has high sided on the track. She's popped an implant!"
There'd be goodie bags and everyone would have an assistant.

They had bikes at Long Beach a long time ago, mid-70's IIRC.
At the time, the paint lines were really unpopular. :-X
But really, if they can do IOM and Macau and such, yeah, why not.
That's be hairball on a bike, anyway.

That's officially before my time.
But very cool.
Although I'm sure there was no Lorenzo Lamas shark tank jumping experience.
Miller Barber...
A deceased pro golfer; and a wonderful track that combines the speed of Miller with the elevation changes, off-camber turns, hillside views, and world-class museum at Barber (same guy designed both, didn't he?) ;D
I like Watkins Glen, but all those fences scare me......

Infineon / Sears' Point.
Of course, I'm dreaming here.
They'd basically have to redo massive portions of the track to increase run off, add an additional mile to the circuit and increase the size of the grounds to handle all the extra fans.
Sorry, while Laguna is a great course it's miles from nowhere and kind of a shit-hole. Plus it has all those damn NIMBYs who happily rent their houses for sky-high prices come race time, but then complain about the noise the rest of the year.
Someone needs to hit up Larry E, Steve J and those Google guys for 11ty billion to make this happen, I say ;D
