Title: Hill Country: What's on YOUR menu?
Post by: Cher on August 30, 2010, 06:10:59 AM

This is a thread about the food we'll be having during our upcoming Hill Country extravaganza.  It is an interactive thread though, so we'll need your input.  L'Smart and I are doing the Sunday Breakfast so our menu is posted.  RonR and CC are providing Saturday's Dinner - also shown.  So, here's the interactive part for all you good folks keeping track at home: what the hell are y'all bringing  [evil] And for what day?  Kindly post up and I'll fill this in.

Friday Night:  Basil chicken pasta
  (Dallas2R and M is for... )

Saturday Breakfast:  Huevos Rancheros, french-press coffee
  (Duc L'Smart and Cher)

Saturday Lunch:  Ride Day (lunch somewhere along the way)

Saturday Dinner:  TBD
   (caffeinejunkie and RichD)

Sunday Breakfast:  TBD
   (McKraut and Bryna)

Sunday Lunch:  Ride Day
   (Tap Room, San Marcos)

Sunday Dinner:  Fajitas
  (calscrazy and ronr)

P.S.   [drink] is not an answer unless you're MurDuc

Are there any updates/mods I need to make for meal planning?

Really looking forward to this.  Our trailer is getting the once-over so we'll have it ready for the track day on Monday, then the HC extravaganza on Friday...

Ahhh, doesn't get much better than that  [moto]

okay then, bryna are doing sunday breakfast.  anyone have anything in mind?  any problems with another egg-based breakfast, or is that overkill?  we'll (by that i mean bryna..) make whatever the majority wants.

Thanks all for the excellent chow and ridiculous chit-chat.   [bow_down]  Had a great time hanging out and exploring.  Sorry some of you missed the fresh apple pie and apple ice cream.  I need to go back there and try the apple turnovers.  [thumbsup]
