I'm thinking about it. I'll bet Mark would want to go too. It's been a few years since I've seen flat track...cool stuff.

That rocked! Mo, wish you would have joined us!

Standing trackside at the first turn and watching those guys throw it in sideways at 125 mph. was sick! Watching the local guys rock was cool, especially the Matea boys.

I was down on the rail close to turn one also.  I got hit with small stones twice!  It was cool.  Awesome racing, no wrecks.  Clicking off the action race after race.  Marty Matea is a pal of mine, his sons grew up racing with Josh Koch, another local, son of a real good friend.  Nat'l number 68.  It was very cool seeing the local kids on the grid with the big guns.

I didn't see the post before going, I did see some dude with shoes that had toes in em, nearly spit beer oot my nose.  Wasn't one of you discussing them shoes the other day?

Hey Dave,

Sorry I missed you...didn't see ya down there. I didn't know that you knew Marty, but then I guess he knows a lot of people. Jake was a student of Kim's. (high school)
Those boys are fast and they race supermoto too.

If you stereotyped me on appearance you would go "cruiser".  I was with a buddy, both of us wearing Moto GP T's from Indy.  Me 2009, him 2010.  I am a big guy, my friends can spot me a long way off when on the Monster.  "It just don't look right"

I prolly first met Marty after Bune sold Trackstar.  I have an ugly ancient XT500 in the garage I bought from him in the early days in South Minneapolis.  Marty joined a bunch of us for a ride a few weeks back when an old friend was in town from CA.

Someday I'll connect at an event and meet all you guys and gals in person, meanwhile it's work, ride and cut grass.

I was there and can't believe I missed you Gabe.  Hanging out by the entrance from pit lane was cool to see the bikes and racers up close. The action was awesome and for me a first time at the Mile.
