I give the guy credit for the work put in this thing, but come on! who honestly thinks this is a nice bike

I don't like the looks, but as a laboratory for new ideas, I tip my hat. The overall product doesn't work aesthetically, but there are bits I do like visually and I'm always interested in seeing people's attempts at integrating alternative technologies.
Where is "the Ron" when you need him? Now there's an Ugly Duc for him to rant on!! ;D
It looks like a Ducati Transformer. ;D
Wow!
Just, Wow!
I'd take it. But I also like this.

Its no Tesi, but its interesting. I wouldn't buy that one though.
An interesting concept for sure!
Kudos to the guy who built it.
Few who criticize it have the skills to make even the first part!
Good job!
Yuck ! But I've seen wose...I think.
i just really don't like the red belt covers and motor. That's not very imaginative, or raw.

i think it's interesting. and not "interesting" as a euphanism for "terrible"... i find it genuinely interesting.
that said, i've no desire to have it.
*recalls a thread on TOB about this bike, and is noticing similar reactions.*
I'm getting lightheaded from all the ugliness!!

oh, yeah, it's the PAINT that is the problem!

The front 'forks' are pretty neat IMO.
I like it and would ride it regularly.
I am up for anything inovative and out of the box... the monster was built out of "thinking out of the box." much applause to those who spend their time and MONEY creating these works. Just think of it as a guy who went the EXTRA modding step. [clap]
The guy has skills, no doubt about it.
But IMO, first and foremost a motorcycle should be just that: a motorcycle. Sure, we all mod our bikes,.. but most/all people wouldn't perform a mod where it undermined stability or handling. I'm looking at the front end of this bike, & thinking it's not going to handle as well as a simple, straightforward handlebar-fork arrangement.
Cheers. [thumbsup]
Since there are no forks, just a front swingarm... I wonder how it turns? How does it countersteer?
That's really cool, although quite ugly. I'd be really interested to see it in action.

Works like normal. You turn handlebar, the linkages turn the wheel, so it turns at slow speed and high speed like normal. At least, the Bimota version does, I have been told. I have not been fortunate enough to ride one.
I would actually totally rock that. I think it's awesome except for the red belt covers and engine cover. I would paint that ASAP.
As an ME student I find the front end to be farking awesome, I have always loved the Tesi for it, and this engineering marvel does the same for me.
My very humble foraging into making custom parts makes me stand in awe of all the time and efforts that have gone into that particular machine. Maybe that's why I like it, I don't find it aesthetically beautiful, but I love the concept and I would love to have a machine that took so much pain and efforts to build..
Imagine that with a springer front end [thumbsup]
great enginnering skill and execution but bubious taste and styling.
I really like a lot of stuff on that bike, I think over all its not flowing together as well as a lightly modded monster but take a look at some stuff:
The under-radiator is great, definitely has potential.
The rearsets are pretty nice, don't know how custom they are.
The exhaust routing is really cool, + some pretty nice cans.
The linkage arm mounting the front swing arm blends in nicely to the frame.
The whole linkage steering is very nice, well executed and would probably be interesting to drive
the integration of the headlights into the tank. also cool.
overall I respect the work of another customizer, Its clean, its well assembled nothing looks gaudy or over the top, I think if it embraced a little more of the naked bike feel, with some additions (or subtractions to the tank and seat area, it could definitely be in my top monsters list.
There we go [thumbsup] I used my remarkable photoshop skills to produce this alternative

Macker's chopp is a styling improvement! I am not talking about anything here except the styling, which is ass! Look at the tubular Monster frame with all that angular %^%$ slapped on. It's Frankenstein's Monster!

You'd be surprised at how well something like that (if designed properly) can handle. There have been arguments made that that style can be made superior to traditional forks. I won't go into it, but....that thing probably handles just fine. :)
Overall, I like it, but there is something about the red paint that just screams drugstore model paint...

Thanks [cheeky] I had spent countless hours but i think I nailed it
Looks like a Bimota rip off to me.

Maybe they can use it in another Batman movie.

+11TB. that engine paint is horrid!
I do like the pipes :)
