So . . . anyone got ideas, suggestions, etc.
I didn't care much for Ryan's answer :o
That sucks. You might have a bent shifter fork.
You try posting in tech?
I don't go outside the NW board usually. There be monsters there! [cheeky]
Post in tech. Of the many people's posts I've read with shifter problems many are related to some of the springs inside the cover on the shifter linkage. Billy had some trouble a while back, I think it was the springs and Darrick sorted him out.
If you don't mind dumping the oil do it and see if you get something that looks like a wire J, shifter spring end. If you don't mind pulling the left cover do that, then reconnect the shifter, move it, and check the linkage for broken springs.

Oh, and if you lost 1st and or 3rd you've got extra neutrals now. What are you complaining about? ;)
You're welcome to my LT Snyder manual but I'd have to get it back from a friend. Let me know.

There's an article in this thread that may give you something to go on.

Any word from Cheshire yet?
Sooooooo...... Was it just the spring?
After retracing his steps... Chuck has found 1st-3rd and Neutral... I guess they were hanging at the local Starbucks with the Harley riders. I guess those gears were scared by his riding style and wanted to hang with people who rode a little less fast.
Ryan, it's too quiet and you're too bored with too much time. Bad combination. :P

I spend like 12 hours a day on the internet. Webex meetings suck. Sometimes things get boring. ;D
Yeah, me too. Where I work no one likes to have face to face meetings, even if they sit on the same floor in the same building. It's weird.

Maybe its just you.
I did get a nasty e-mail from my boss about my "negative attitude" on Wednesday.
