Title: Proper etiquite for improper parking?
Post by: Amlethae on September 21, 2010, 07:22:41 AM
Hi all,

So normally I park legally on the street... but I'm working in the areas of midtown where I can't.  I'm looking for advice on how to park on sidewalks and get away with it.

What are your experiences?  What have you gotten away with?  What haven't you?

Thanks!

Some folk get away with it for a long time, but eventually they will get you.  If you are lucky, you may only get a ticket.

Not midtown but...

Best protection for parking in the city, park in a garage.  Other than that park near crosswalks or hydrants, this way you only have a car on one side.  If on the sidewalk and you are NOT a scooter leave the plate on and take the ticket, it's better than a tow.

Sometimes this happens.
