Title: harley for sale
Post by: no c on September 23, 2010, 01:42:04 PM
A good customer of mine is selling her dynaglide.  I don't know much about harleys but she assured me it was a pretty sweet deal.  It was bought new for 26k and she put 10k in goodies on it, only 1500 miles.  They have three bmw's and all of their bikes are very well maintained. She is sending me some more info on it, i'll post up if anyone is interested

I'm not a cruiser/Harley fan but that looks good.

It's an '06
mileage is 1747
custom paint by Other Side Customs
Full Chrome package
removable windsheild
saddle bags
evolution 88 motor
says she's got 33k in it and wants 25k

Now if they'd sell me his BMW S 1000 RR  I might be interested.  Has anyone ever rode/owned on of those? I'm really starting to like them.

well it's like everything else in life.  the goodies you put on your bike are worth it to you but not necessarily the next buyer.  She's asking twice what it's worth and lenders are only lending 80% of NADA which makes it harder.  I don't see a screaming eagle kit (call it termi/DP ECU and such) and normally they have the pipes which these are stock.  This was not a limited edition bike but it looks like new bars and paint, nothing else really.  Not trying to be an ass - which I am by the way - just trying to offer a realistic approach.  That bike costs about 15K so I find it hard to believe on an 88 inch she paid that much and if she did I want to hire that sales guy TODAY.
Anyway, good luck to her.

that's funny! i wouldn't be surprised if she did, they are pretty much stinkin rich.  thanks for the input, if it comes back up I'll try and let her know without crushing her spirits.

if she's that rich tell her to donate the bike to someone who will care for it like me and the wife  ;D
I already have an Electra Glide, this will fit my wife just fine.   [cheeky]
