Title: Helimot H-20 Gloves
Post by: DoubleEagle on October 04, 2010, 01:10:24 AM
Does anyone wear these Gloves ?

If so tell me about them please.

Describe the Gloves : positive aspects, likes , dislikes, comfort , how the sizing compares to other Gloves , are the Fingers more on the long or short side of what you might consider average.

Could you really punch the corner ( the sharp edge ) of a brick wall and not feel it ?

Here's a comparison to Held Phantoms:

You can get the fingers all adjusted as need be-I've met the owner-they do nice work there.

Hey Dolph, I responded to your PM re the gloves.  I think DanTheMan has posted up some H20 reviews.  Do a DMF search by his username.

Ah, here we go.  I knew it had been discussed somewhere.  http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=29105.0 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=29105.0)

I just got a pair today in the mail.

Haven't had time to unpack them yet.

I really like the Held Titans so I am skeptical about the H20s.

I should know more by this time later tonight.

Please report back, Dolph.  My Held Steve has developed holes in the palm area between the fingers and worn through where the velcro wrist strap touches the palm.  I'm going to be in need of new gloves and I do not know if the new Helds are as good.

I'm recovering from my 6 hours of " corner carving and strafing the straights " on my 1098 R yesterday so I probably won't be testing the H20s until the weekend.

I can tell you this , I wore the Gloves for about an hour last night and they feel real good.

They will need some breaking in to be the best feeling due to the thickness of the leather on the back of the Gloves.

The Kangaroo palms feel like my Held Titans .

The overall craftsmanship is excellent.

The fingers are long.

I ordered a pair of XXL and gave Helmut ( the owner of Helimot ) some measurements of my fist , middle finger middle knuckle and length of my middle finger.

They are sort of custom made for my hands.
