I'm a newbie to Ducati, bought my first Monster (I like to think it was the first 796 in North America, so please don't tell me otherwise) at AMS in Dallas and have been loving it for the past few months.
I'm most interested in local rides and user-recommended equipment and upgrades. I've been in the DFW area (south of Dallas) for the past 4 years and will be here one more year. I know I'll be moving this next summer, but I don't know where yet. I'm cynical and sarcastic by nature, and I've got a very deviant side and a very wholesome side, depending on who I'm with and the environment I'm in....so be forewarned.
I'm ready to meet more Ducati owners, but I'm not a Ducati exclusive kind of person by any means. Let's do this...

I'm heading out soon for the ride near McKinney/Sherman and I'm bringing a camera. I'll post pics (assuming I take any post-worthy ones) when I get back.
My bike isn't all that unique yet - the only things I've added to it are gas, a small piece of duct tape and a bungie web to hold stuff down...but that will change someday. I see the exhaust upgrade in my future and I might change out the mirrors and I need a tank bag and a GPS and heated grips and...and...and...
