Title: Hello World
Post by: YesMan on October 30, 2010, 10:38:03 AM
Hi everybody,

Just posting my forum intro, I am a motorcycle/ducati noob, and by noob i mean i don't know jack about riding except what I learned at the MSF course.
Just got a monster 796, its my first bike.
Recently relocated the to DC metro area from North Jersey because the traffic in jersey just wasn't bad enough.

Hello  [moto]

Nice bike which will bring you a lot of fun.
Follow the forum and study hard.
Everything feels strange at first, but little by little you'll understand.
Then it's only uphill as your feel for motorcycling increases.
First and last every day - ride carefully and within your limits.

[thumbsup]

we relocated to the DC area (NoVA) from Manhattan.  I don't know that the traffic here is worse than Jersey, but it depends on where you were (i.e. what turnpike exit)... :D

There are a lot more bike-friendly people around here, and if you go into DC you'll find more parking.

Come check out the CAM local group

As far as your experience level, just take it easy, the knowledge and experience will come.  I've been riding 25+ years and still find shit I don't know or forgot or is new or ?
