Hello all!
Sold the 998 a couple weeks ago and bought a 2008 S2R1000 today. Only 457 miles and the nubs are still on the tires! Got a GREAT deal on it too. (Under trade in value).
I look foward to learning from all of you.
welcome to the board!
Welcome...
I know someone that goes by ducatiboy.
Have we met?
Only if you are from Vermont or possibly heard of me on Ducati MS, The WERA board or a couple other forums.
"Doc" was taken.
Nope...
I saw you were from VT, but the ducatiboy I know was from MA.
What threw me was the 998. He had one.

Already removed the frame decals (came off in 1 piece and going in the manual) and the fork reflectors. Insulated tape on the exhaust shield and put a first coat of polish on her. :D Getting cold up here in Vermont but i hope to take her for a ride tomorrow.
The only upgrade it has are the DP headers :D (What slip on fit? I hear only Termis?)
I got an Arai Vector helmet and the stock exhaust thrown in as well!
Welcome and congrats on the S2R, looking good. [thumbsup]
Good luck with your upgrades, keep us updated.
have fun! [moto]
On little tech note - that you're probably already aware of being that you've owned ducs before. Since the bike's got some age, the belts are probably due to be replaced.
Yep, I am aware. They are on the list of things to do this winter.
Tail Chop is complete.

Gonna need to do a little painting on the ends this winter too. :(
