I'm looking for the fastest one.
Which one is it, the one downtown on Greenwich, or the one on 34th St (either one)?
I just need to replace my lost license. The one in Bklyn is out of the question, I'd rather watch baby seals being clubbed than go there again.
I've found downtown to be the best. Really fast.. just go before 12 and after 2.
Hey GC,
I live just a few blocks from the Greenwich location and highly recommend it. If you get there right before they open you'll be out in under a half hour; just have your forms ready.
Greenwich Street New York Office - NYSDMV
11 Greenwich Street
New York, NY 10004
(Cross Streets Battery Park Place & Morris St) M - F 8:30 - 4:00 1-212-645-5550
Thanks folks. [thumbsup]
I'll be there tomorrow morning with bells on.
My personal fav is the one on Whitestone expressway. Lots of parking, very fast, big place, good A/C, hotdog truck outside, next to many highways & expressways. [thumbsup]

I guess they can't get it to work for Vista ;D
34th street DMV, theres only 1 dude at the front desk and holy crap, he can eat a 25man line in 1 minute and get them the forms and ticket you need. Wait time has never been more than 15mins, Ive made 3 trips there and visited 3 different people all in one day with time to go to class. Only problem is getting there is a hassel unless you take the train.
Coney Island DMV isnt too bad if you are in BK. Just avoid the atlantic ave one, i got kicked out of there. =D
DING DING DING!!
New personal record today! [thumbsup]
Went to the dmv downtown at Bowling Green. Got there at 8:30 on the nose. Walked out the door with my new temp license at 8:43. Not only were they super fast, they were all very friendly to boot. A very different experience from my hard knock occasions from the one in Bklyn (Atlantic Center).
