"guarantee" is a funny word but, given his performance over the last few years coupled with the well-developed yzr-m1, you can be reasonably sure that a yamaha is going to be on the podium each race.
Quote from: zooom on December 29, 2010, 09:04:36 AM
at least 1 M1 will be on the podium alot for sure(regardless of who the rider is)....each race...now THAT is a bet I'll take...I'll bet that there is at least 1 race next year that doesn't have a Yamaha on the podium.
Quote from: gm2 on December 29, 2010, 10:08:44 AM
at least 1.. very safe. how many races with no yamaha on the rostrum would you wager?

Ooooo...you tempt and bait me sir....out of 18 races....
do we get an over/under on this one?....LOL
I'll assume we get no over/under on this one...and so my guess is at least 3 races with no Yamaha on the podium....

wonder what Vegas would put the odds at for a Suzuki to make a podium appearance? Million to 1?...not that I am saying it is going to happen...just curious, if anyone wants to inquire for to satiate curiousity.

It's funny you pull up Bwin. I was about to post up on the other thread that I wouldn't be surprised if they became the Yamaha title sponsor. Spain is one of, if not, the biggest markets they have.
Nevertheless, I quite agree with those odds, except the the pedrobot, Rossi order.
Maybe I don't understand how the numbers work, but with those odds, can't you put equal money down on Lorenzo, Rossi and Stoner and if any of them win (other than Lorenzo), you're ahead? If Lorenzo wins, you're even.

The math looks like that'll work, but I can't imagine they'd let that go.
