doesn't it boil down to an oil change? Not a 696 but around 2-300 that you can save yourself by doing the service yourself. (not trying to sound like a smart ass)

Does anyone know what is involved in the first service? I know its more than just an oil change. I think they do a check on nuts and bolts too. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

the info is on TOB but i dont want to go over there. They make sure some bolts are checked and usually, the only "work" they have to do is change the oil.
