Whole SE is shutdown because of an inch of ice/snow.
Local news (last night)
Snow yo!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BkaCfQmm1w#normal)
HA HA... I made the same noise that the person behind the camera made. [laugh]
that would have been me :D.
It snowed A LOT in Florida back in winter of 89~90. The whole state shut down. We actually drove back to Michigan on Christmas day and it was warmer up there with less snow.
Have fun driving!
something about florida ... when it gets cold there, you really feel it.
seems different somehow.
I don't even shovel my driveway with an inch of snow/ice [laugh]
Another 6" here today!
Whee! I picked the perfect year to get back into snowmobiling. ;D
people in areas that it actually does snow freak out when it snows. what do you expect from people in areas where it doesn't snow often?
i rememnber we got about 1/2 inch one time in southeast AL and guys in their big trucks that can handle 2 ft of sticky red clay mud were sliding off the road into ditches.
I lived north of Atlanta for a few years. It snowed twice in the 5 years I lived there. Today I met up with a coworker that decided to escape to FL instead of dealing with the snow.

Fun! I miss doing that.
My little cousins race snowmobiles in the U.P.
It's bad when you A) drive past a news broadcast set up out side to show the severity of the weather, and B) with the 4WD truck in 2WD punch the gas to make it spin and get sideways, and C) the news reporter comments on how you're driving too fast on the local televised broadcast...
