I just got a quote from http://www.strictlycycles.com (http://www.strictlycycles.com) at 972-540-1900, his name is Wayne.
It's half the price of what I'm paying for all three bikes at $632 with Dairyland. Thought I'd pass it along.
Dax,
How'd you find this guy and who is the underwriter on the policy? Is it also full coverage? As theft, un-insured motorist, collision and liablity.
Thanks for posting. [thumbsup]
I called and the guy gave me a great quote but it was without un and underinsured coverage. He said to just use my major medical insurance instead.... still not sure. When I added my exact coverage that I have now it was more expensive. :'(
It's Dairyland and I don need medical as I'm covered through work as long as I'm wearing a helmet which I always do and yes all the coverages mentioned

If I am reading your response correctly, your insurance company requires you to wear a helmet to be covered? Or is it your place of employment?
I'm not required to by our Health providor BUT they can deny a claim.........so it says but I know the AMA has filed a discrimination lawsuit to that end.
That is true dax. Aetna denied a claim a few months back for that reason. The state that it happened in had a helmet law and that was what gave them the edge!
Just read the policy and it doesn't cover uninsured so I'll check back tomorrow n report findings
Hmmm. Insurance is so fing complicated! I chose Geico for all my coverage for multi discount, but I still pay for all the stupid commercials [bang]
At least they paid 4K for my ten year old stolen DR650.
update........$563 full coverage for all three bikes per year. I'm not carrying uninsured because I have major medical and comprehensive covers property damage and bike replacement for some asshole without insurance.
Never hurts to review the policies. I checked and saw that I had more un and underinsured coverage on the bikes than I did on the car ???. So, after calling to make that adjustment I ended up saving $444 a year which I then turned around and used to help fund an umbrella policy for 1.5MM which cost $150 a year. They made me increase my renters coverage to 300k for an extra $9 a year and my auto liability to 500k for an extra $60/yr so net net I have WAY more coverage and still ended up saving over $200 a year. Works for me. [thumbsup]
I kept my umbrella policy with state Farm forthe same coverage
