I love to see modified Multistradas. I just wanted to share this one I came across.

You've got to admire the work done to create this exhaust in Titanium.

Nice, that exhaust is sweet, wonder how it would look on a Monster. Any ideas what it is? I swear I've seen it at a hardware store.
that exhaust must have taken at least an hour to fab. maybe more!
seriously, that is nuts. i want to see the other side.
The exhaust is hideous (looks like some intestinal parasite), but a hell of a lot of work went into that.
Neat.

it is many many rings welded together to make the curves. crazy.
BEAUTIFUL [thumbsup]
The exhaust is nicely done, but just looks like they did a lot of that for show. Not much purpose and it looks cluttered...
Very Nice, Just can't stand that Blue paint
Love The exhaust
Way cool! I really dig the exhaust.
I like it without the front fairing. Not crazy about the exhaust.
That bike is pretty nice, coolest multi i've ever seen
Nice, I like Multis, especially modded ones
I'm diggin' the side mount oil cooler! 8)

it's a zard exhaust.
Looks Badass..
Its a bit different, but I think I like it
I like the bike, its swaying me towards a used MS...hmmmmm
a minimalist Strada..gotta work on that idea
It looks good, exhaust, stil thinking a bit agricultural
looks good, except the exhaust. I think i like the exhaust under the seat like standard... I'd like to see the arse end to see what was done to fill the gap under the seat where the standard exhaust lived.
also, I dunno why the headers wern't just mostly bent, that would make the flow better wouldn't it...

That is a good question. Why are titanium exhausts welded together out of many pieces? Is titanium hard to bend?
It is really cool, but the more I look at it...
It's now pretty much a Hypermotard!
that is beautiful!

it flexes till its shatter point. Mandrel bending Ti is a almost impossible task, hence the exhaust being made of very small sections, to keep the inner diameter somewhat the same.
It would appear that the only good looking Multi is a modded Multi. I understand they are awesome to ride, but the stock fairing is still hideous imo. I find they look good when people get rid of them. Nakeds are best.
Here's the best looking Multi I've ever seen...

There is an article about this bike on a italian magazine called Mondo Ducati, from Marz 2008 (page 60). There are much more photos of different angles. If I had a scanner, I would post them.
Not only the exhaus is amazing, but also the entire bike! [thumbsup]
It does not look so tall as the Multistrada. Actualy it looks like a radical Monster. The suspention looks like it was totally chnged. And I would guess that this exhaust fit perfectly on a S2R! I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!

I remember when Nick first posted pics of that multi, that thing is bad-ass [evil]
Does anyone know if he still has it?
Ooo, the Multis look nice with no fairings!
But whose idea was that ghastly baby blue paint?
I think you can find the whole history Nick's build on TOB
search for MotoGPfan

Check this one out, was a beautiful mod, one of the best I have seen. I say was because he was rear ended at a Stop Light last month, not sure if he is going to rebuild it.

Wow!! that is one bad multistrada!!!! the exhaust is awesome... [thumbsup]
hmm, i wonder if it will fit a tall guy( 6'4") better? the dimensions on the ducati.com site seem the same as a monster except for a 2 inch higher seat but i already have my rear height maxed out.
Any monster owner tall guys tried the multi yet?
Also i wonder if i could stick the monster tank on it?
Actually what i really want is a s4rs sized in XXL ;D
My favorite modded Monstrada or Hyperstrada, whichever you prefer:

Unfortunately, Steve was recently rear ended by someone while stopped at a red light. This beautiful machine ended up entirely underneath the offending vehicle, minus the front end. Steve hopefully will be okay in the long run. He was decidedly very uncomfortable the last time I saw him.
About the only thing there that I like is the Zard (I put one on speedy) other than that yuck.

That really sicks...hope he gets well soon! [thumbsup]
I'm really close to doing something similar to my MTS. [thumbsup] Do you know what he did with the battery and fusebox? I think Nick put his in a custom mount where his airbox was, and replaced the airbox with pod filters. I'm not sure how good of an idea pod filters are for me, given how much rain riding I do in sunny Seattle. :P
Are those front brake rotors carbon? They almost look like GP rotors, but it's hard to tell from the pic... ???
-Overall It's pretty damn cool though...I probably woulda made the exhaust black though personally..
People looking for Nick to talk to him about his bike can find him as motogpfan at coastalducaticlub.org
that's the forum he created.
he's here too but is scarce at the moment.
Damn nice looking...thanks posting up the pics.
Rob
wow.......i never suspected it was possible to make a MS look good.
i wonder how hard it would be to pick up a used one that needed a bunch of cosmetic fixin..........?

Shame that was hit. My favorite of those shown by far.
Sorry to hear about Steves luck, He just was fully recovered from breaking his back at the track a few years ago.
A friend of mine actually made the exhaust on Steves Multi, It looked good, Steve made it look Great. As he does with all of his bikes. You should see his work on Bevel motors. I dont even like the big Bevels but I love his work on them.
Get well Steve!
hmm... +1 on those multi's looking like bad-ass monsters. Cool! [thumbsup] - Chris

you cannot easily bend titanium, that's the purpose. also, doing this even with stainless means no kinking or buckling on the curves, which happens when you bend tubes.
