Well I have'nt put them to good use yet.
But I like the beauty of being able to switch between metric and imperial at the touch of a button, you also get the standard Internal, External, Depth and Graduated measure's, plus other stuff that you get on any other caliper, fine adjustment wheel, securing screw.

I have an old caliper that I'm going to check it against

The butane torch would also be welcomein my shed, just so I can try plastic welding, pity I cant get the picture to come up, Aldi put some good stuff up every now and then and there prices are pretty good. The caliper is less than $20 and has a 3 year warranty.

Depending on the market ... different spelling is used. So is this what you are after?

I can't imagine it would be that hard for you talented peoples to knock some up yourselves - you just need to get ... well you know .... around to it.

A bit chicken and egg really. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/26624257@N04/5477236797/)
