would suck if they don't make it.
luckily it sounds like financial reformation is all they need...but if they don't come out of it...it will indeed be major suckage as it is a decent facility...

I haven't made it there yet.
The cost of travel and riding time has been prohibitive for me so far.
Everyone I know that has been there likes the tracks...one more so than the other, and I think Thunderbolt gets the win.
well....I haven't ridden the tracks either, just been there helping pit for a friend, and it is nice and looks like Thunderbolt is the ticket, though Lightning is sweet looking as well...
one day my money will free up and I'll be able to go to Jersey and to Monticello...

yeah, Monticello is only around 30 miles away for me. I really should get there, hell I really should finally get around to a track day of any sort somewhere/anywhere

only way you're riding Monticello is if you have a fancy sportscar and a $25,000 membership (least expensive level). No bikes there anymore.

What happened to the deal they had with Tony and the other outfit?
I guess the Monticello members and community didn't want everyone/anyone else there anymore. Looks like MMC got the $$ they needed to continue building up the site without help from selling trackdays to outside orgs.
Last Fall there was a big hoopla over cars coming from or going to the track and racing down Rt 17.
As for STT, the North East division no longer exists for this season, they carried all their eggs in the Monticello basket, they may be back for 2012 if they can get something going with other tracks is my guess.
screw 'em then, I'll build my own track in my backyard and only charge 10k, 11k for Nate though
been there done that

as long as you have deep pockets like Alan Wilzig to fight your neighbors.
Alan's non too far from Monticello, is he?

Should have enough left over to fight my legal battles, I save a lot of money by only having a quarter acre to build said track on [laugh]
Was in Dover Del last week near the Speedway....they must make uber$ during NASCRAP weekend, cause it looks like its empty the rest of the time..... [roll]
