Sunday May 15th we'll be doing our annual Meet in the Middle it is also our first Passport Event of the year details of which we will be posting soon.
For those who haven't been we ride from several corners of New England and met for an excellent BBQ lunch at Curtis' BBQ in Putney VT. This is an excellent place to hang out and chat with your fellow Ducati enthusiasts. Riders of other makes are welcome too, it will give us a chance to show them the light. Afterwards you can head home or hook up with others to take advantage of some local knowledge of some great New England Roads. We'll be meeting at Curtis's is around Noon.
We will do some organized rides out from different parts of New England. It also fine to come on your own and just meet us there. This has usually brought a great turnout of Ducati enthusiasts from all over.
Thanks
This is a fun ride and you can't beat the food.
I'm in.
im in, would like to meetup with someone in nh for the ride to vt though....
just noticed your from nh architect....where would it be convienient to meet for the ride?
if your still in new london then your right next door im in franklin [thumbsup].
The last times I went we met up in Concord and went west from there. They'll post the routes from all different directions.
JC, I am still in New London. You can come by and we go down to Concord or we can just ride directly there, eat and ride back with the others.
It'll be fun.
sounds good when the time comes give me directions...
ohhh and im not into racing so i prefer a somewhat relaxed pace, dont have very much back road experience either though wont mind hitting some along the way.

New England, ya big jerk!
I've gone for the past few years- good times!
Don't worry JC., I like/need my license. And as always, ride at your own pace. You gonna join us Nate? I don't know why they calll it the middle, they should call it meet in the west ride. But who cares the food is good.
I'll have to see how the 'project' is going then, and if I can get the family day off.
Sounds like a fun time regardless.

I stopped going over there when they started restricting access to some boards based on post count.
I felt it was elitist and exclusionary.
Maybe it's true what people say about Duc owners.

That would be my fault Nate,,, we were having some trouble when we first started out with some spammers and I was and still am pretty much a newbie to administration stuff. I didn't realize it still was that way so my apologies. I'll look into it.
Hope you could make it, would love to see you..

My bad,,, kids activities seem to take up more and more of my time and I haven't been good at keeping up.
I'll take care of it.
Thanks

I don't know that it is Oz...like I said, I stopped visiting quite some time ago. It only took once being denied access to turn me off completely.
This place keeps me pretty busy anyway.

Maybe we can take a more northerly approach, route 11 to route 10 or 11 to route 5?
Any thoughts or ideas?
You think the friggen snow will be gone by then? [bang]

At this rate probably not. 2" and it's still coming down hard! Even if it's gone who wants to ride in 30 degree weather......
i think it will be fine by then, but yeah i was hoping to meet up a bit closer to home for the both of us, just let me know where you want to meet and what time and i dont really care how we get there.

Wow, seriously ? The rain has been driving me crazy down here in CT. Snow would make me insane at this point.

unfortunately he is serious.
I had a customer stop by Sunday and it had been snowing at his house, near Stowe, for 2 straight days.
status update?
i just found this thread and i have a few friends who would certainly be interested in making a trip next sunday :-)
I was thinking for us northern and central NH riders we could meet in New London and head on over. Any thoughts?
I'll work out the details in a day or two.
Well it looks like the weather is going to be OK for this meet. If there is any one interested there's a group of us from RI/SE MASS riding out of North Attleboro we will be meeting at the Mobil sation on 348 East Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760-2319. Kick stands up at 9:00 the route will be mostly back roads.
Forecast is for highs in the mid 50s with 40% chance of rain.
I'm not getting a warm IZ_ feeling.
edit...
Forecast was pretty accurate. How was it?

Unfortunately it rained a lot, but once we got there, Curtis's had plenty of tables under the Gazebo so we got to eat our ribs in peace.
But this is New England the weather is just part of the package. Hot shower at the end of the day was sublime.
