thanks, can't wait to pick it up monday... i'll be twiddling and twitching the whole weekend.
No, no, that means an IRRATIONAL fear. Certainly we can all aggree that this is serious bad ju-ju.
Signing the papers is probably OK, but don't pick up that bike until after today or it'll surely be a lemon.
Yeah, I would consider it irrational.
It is all in your head.
Irrational or not - this mornings rush out here saw a downtown substation blow, blacking out a bunch of intersections in one of the densest business areas... And a fire on the metro (subway) line that moves the most folks, at a stop smack in the middle of the line. Awsome!

Substations fail in service daily.
(More often when you have had 6 straight days of 90 - 100 degree days.)
Subway fires aren't as common though.

WE NEED PHOTOS!!!!!!
Well, I'm not very superstious, but I don't even leave my house on a Friday the 13th. No shower, don't want to slip on the tile, minimum food (no tomatos!!), and will probably spend the day indoors watching TV in my underware (sorry laydees, no pics). Just a normal, careful guy. 8)

QuoteDutch study shows Friday 13th not more unlucky
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Unlucky for some? Dutch statisticians have established that Friday 13th, a date regarded in many countries as inauspicious, is actually safer than an average Friday.
A study published on Thursday by the Dutch Centre for Insurance Statistics (CVS) showed that fewer accidents and reports of fire and theft occur when the 13th of the month falls on a Friday than on other Fridays.
"I find it hard to believe that it is because people are preventatively more careful or just stay home, but statistically speaking, driving is a little bit safer on Friday 13th," CVS statistician Alex Hoen told the Verzekerd insurance magazine.
In the last two years, Dutch insurers received reports of an average 7,800 traffic accidents each Friday, the CVS study said. But the average figure when the 13th fell on a Friday was just 7,500.
There were also fewer incidents of fire and theft, although the average value of losses on Fridays 13th was slightly higher.

My sister and brother are both born on the 13th day of the month so we regularly had friday the 13th's that were happy days so I have no fear of any particular day/date combination.

If you're not superstitious, then why alter any of your regular behavior Norm?

Been ok so far, haven´t been run over yet ;D
Great day here, boss decided to stay home... ;D
Everyone got there work done...
I though it was only unlucky if you camped near a lake or were a Knights Templar [cheeky]
So it's not my fault that I put a big new scratch this morning on my new-to-me, nearly pristine (before I got my hands on it) ST2? It's the day that's to blame? What a relief...
Still [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]
This is serious stuff, my sister's birthday is on the 13th & if it falls on Friday, we don't even speak. These couple of posts is all I've done today and I'm risking lightning strikesjust by using the computer. Still in my undeware but I'll be showered & dressed in the morning when the bad ju-ju is gone. Signing off for today.
