Title: [QLD] Superbike School
Post by: Betty on March 25, 2011, 12:34:11 PM
Just thought I'd let you lot up there know about Superbike School coming to Queensland:

Those that have done the course highly recommend it ... it is a well structured day for improving your skills. These days typically sell out fast.

Also ... for some reason you are being offered a LOW introductory price ... OK so $400 for a day is still expensive, but it will no doubt become more expensive (normally around $500 down south).

This has been a community service announcement ... written and spoken by Betty who has no affiliation with CSS.

I recommend this service or product. 5 Stars.

Betty it is cheap because track days at Qld Raceway are cheap. They are 130 bucks instead of the ludicrous $250 they are at Eastern Creek. This is because they have a vaguely competitive market,  because the Qld government doesnt SELL ALL ITS RACETRACKS AND TURN IT INTO McMANSIONS. RIP Amaroo, RIP Oran.

I kinda figured ... but they do state it is an 'opening special' price and is why I clarified the usual $500 is for 'down here'. $500 may not be their 'normal' price up there, but it sounds like it will increase above the $400 being offered currently.

Agree with the sentiment that we need more tracks in and around Sydney ... the costs are high because they can be.
