Never been. Will be in the Pikes Peak area from the 15-24! I posted on nmc and dp suggested I post up here.
My wife is convinced I'm going to love it there. I can't wait to check it out!
Beers anyone?
What can I expect weatherwise?
We like it out here!
Beers sound good!
Weather?? March & April are typically the snowiest months, but it's been a really, really dry winter (12" of snow so far vs. the normal 50"). That being said, it could snow, it could be 70*, it could be 40*, it could rain, but most likely you'll see plenty of sunshine.
If you plan on heading up Pikes Peak, definitely bring cold weather clothes. It's always cold at the top!
If You are in the Springs area, give Us a hollar on the SoCoDogs thread. We would be glad to show You a tour. are You riding or driving?
Either way Colorado is a good time! Keep posted..
Flying out wit the fam.
Will require more than one alcohol centered event......my mother in law will be staying with us.......

I keep reading about the great Trout fishing in CO. Any fisherpeople on here interested in showing me a few streams?
The more I read about it, the more Im going to love this place I have a feeling...........can you tell Im getting pumped?
I've not been in the water in far too long.
I think Ducducgooseme is a fan of waving a stick in a stream as well.

Man, you're gonna love it there! If you wanna do some good fishin the best places are a bit of a hike from where you're gonna be. I would say if you can do it, take a trip out to Gunnison Area. If you can't make it that far, head up towards the Dillon res, or closer places would be a little SW in Beaver Creek st pk at the Skagway res, or the Eleven Mile Canyon Res.

fished all of them, never caught a damn thing - the fishing is good here - the catching is another story.

The Eagle has landed. Blasted thin air makes me rethink a habit or two! I'm right across the street from the Chrystolo Bar and Grill (or something to that effect). So far, so great!
take a trip up to downtown boulder. its similar to M st in Georgetown, I'm sure you'll have a good time!
