I'm actually looking at a set of fully adjustable Showa forks as my next big mod; one step closer to SBK-esque handling  [laugh] 

Of course then there's that whole down-on-power 620 thing...

Sure, chuck out imagination and fun if you like, by I'm going googling for body work you can strap to a 620...

The gentleman's bike in question was racing in the ultralight category, so I'm guessing he went that way for weight savings?  Too lazy to look up the weight difference...

Still, the answer to why in this case is definitely "becuz, that's why"
