Title: REV'IT jackets?
Post by: deadhead on April 18, 2011, 01:24:55 PM
Anybody have any experience with REV'IT jackets?  In particular, I'm looking at the Ignition leather/textile hybrid jacket.  Any input that you might have will be appreciated.

i've got the rev'it air and cr leather jackets, the gt pants and mistral pants...  and i'm thinking about picking up the tarmac for the summer.

i like them a lot and the quality has been great so far.  same level of quality as dainese/astars with a better price point i would say.  more features for the money with a aggressive adoption of new construction techniques for their stuff.

it also helps that if you are in the nyc area, you can get to their sample sales... their spring one just passed, but they will have another one in the fall they said.

I love Rev'It stuff. I have a few things. One thing quirky about them is you have to buy one size bigger than anything else. They run small. Other than that, they get an unrestricted  [thumbsup]

The color on my Liteon has faded (30,000 miles), but every other detail is in perfect working order.

Rev'it really understand the challenges for riding gear  [thumbsup]

+1 on the sizing - go one up!

Revzilla does product videos and carries Rev'it gear. Might be a good place to look for a little more info.

i find the revit fits true to size provided that you like a more skin tight fit and you have a thinnner to very athletic build.  then it fits true to size.  if you do not fit this build then you have to size up 1 size from what your normal jacket size would be.

So what you're saying is that for us regular fatasses, we need to go up a size? ;D
