hey guys,
i have a rev'it tarmac jacket (size 56) and the rev'it gt2 leather pants (size 52) now for a 2 piece set. thing is, when i zip them together, the jacket's zipper is longer than the pants by about a inch and a half so it does not fully perfectly end on each other. is this big enough of a deal to go and have a tailor make the ends perfectly match? or is this something that happens to most 2 pieces anyway?
Dainese use the same length zipper across sizes, so you can mix and match.
Maybe Rev'it don't.....
If it was me, I'd try to get it fixed - the pull might damage the zipper.
Or you can just try how it works and repair it if it fails - more or less same job.

Rev'it uses either 71 and 75 mm. long zippers. On some garments they use both . As long as the elastic has enough give to avoid discomfort I wouldn't (and don't) worry about it.

cool, thanks :)
it has more than enough stretch so it's not pulling... more like just a little niggling thing for me. i was suprised when it didnt line up perfectly because i thought all rev'it stuff would zip up perfect to each other.
mine too doesn't line up perfectly, but i don't mind ;D although i can fix it(tailor can actually), i got the other side of every connector, both for jacket and pants so I can match it
I have a BMW Sport leather Jacket and Sport leather Pants and the zippers are off by 3 inches.
I asked about it on a BMW Forum and the resounding answers were that it was a mistake and and to send them back to BMW and have them make them fix them up.
Dolph :)
