C'mon its their send-off for the world cup ... and I know someone who wouldn't be keen on the early morning start that would be required to get to Rouse Hill in time.

Thanks Brian. You will a chord with the Bronster about the northern beaches bashing.... Not that she has anything against the lovely people up there, just that she spent a lot of time working there with a 3+ hour daily commute. Shit like that tarnishes your perspective.

Hey guys,
I went out last night with SydneyRiders (meet at Five Dock Shell servo 7:30, Thursdays) and met another Monster. Anyway, I got talking to him and told him to join us on the Sunday ride, he said he would as he lives in Baulkham Hills. Oh, and I totally froze my nuts off as we went to Londonderry/Hawkesbury.
Anyway, his name is Andre and this is his bike in case he shows up you know who he is.
Cheers, Rod

Made the decision about 5 mins ago to sit this one out..
I had the flu during the week and am still on the mend so these sort of temperatures just aren't going to work for me :'(
Have fun though guys, hope it's as enjoyable as last time we went up that way for the caves run
(had a great cruisy ride with Hambo up and down Bells on that trip as we both had to leave early).

What's that thing on your head? Were you about to rob a local bank or something?
[leo]
Looks like a pair of panties in that shot ;D
Where's the rest of the commentary on the ride?
There's sure to iPhone photos from Brian and some out of Robs Sony little clicker.
Matildas won 2-1.
Well as j5 said the weather was a cracker no snow, no rain, no ice no frost not even one cloud all day, no wind, very little to no water on the road, no [leo] [moto]
All those softies who cannded for the cold or to watch soccer or some other lame excuse, sucked in brilliant day. [laugh]
Even the Ducati owners club was at maccas and wanted to muscle in on our ride, but Teff sorted them out, did card a few of there monster riders though. :)

Another off road adventure? Hope everything is alright!?
Yes Max
But this time I got a bit intimate with the arm-co [moto]
Going down into Lithgow one of the first very steep and tight right handers
with a decreasing radius, went in a little hot on Teffs tail not super fast but just
enough to make me back off the throttle in the corner which unweighted the rear
causing the back to loose traction and cross up.
By the time I got traction I was in the dirt, bike went down and I went chest first into the
arm co.
I was looking at the cliff on the other side of the arm-co thinking oh this could get worse :o
I was very very lucky just sore ribs torn glove and scratched up new Dianese leather jacket [bang]
I am just amazed that I didn't get ripped open by the sharp edges on the uprights of the arm-co
as I felt them going past trying to hook up my jacket.
The bike is okay those silly looking crash knobs [thumbsup] saved it ,
without them I doubt I would of been able to ride it home.
Gear lever slightly bent knobs worn down ,tiny graze on the underside of gear box smashed CF front fender
grazed mirror nothing really , picked it up and rode on.
Learnt a valuable lesson about steep descent sharp corners though [laugh]
dont back off just lean harder ;D
It's hard to learn lessons like that I'm sure.
Though it is hard for your brain to tell your hand not too back off it's the first survival instinct that kicks in saying slow down.
When really you should be keeping the power on (gently) feather the rear brake and maybe the front and lean hard to get it whipped around the corner.
But you know hindsight!
As usual, awesome ride and day out with the OzMo mini group and ringin's. Roads were very good with only noticeable traffic on the way back. Had an great sunbake at the Mt Vic Pub to warm the body and soul [coffee]
A quick thanks to Rob S (and company) for waiting for me at the Bells Line/Kurmond Rd intersection as I'm pretty sure I would have kept riding until I hit Parramatta otherwise!
Let hope the winter hibernation of OzMonsters doesn't last too long and looking forward to the next group ride in the early spring!

Yes be carefull of Des, he seems to be one of those love/hate types. One moment he was lying on the armco hugging it, the next moment he was viciously kicking and swearing at it !
Okay Rendang and Teff I will kindly ignore your last comments as you are both old and
