Hotter temps are coming soon to a ride near you; what gear do you use to beat the heat?
My favorite hot weather gear is LD Comfort pants. http://www.ldcomfort.com/ (http://www.ldcomfort.com/) They're like compression tights but have a special weave pattern that traps moisture in a layer off of the skin. Works great on the superbike under my armored mesh pants or even Draggin' Jeans. Only down side is the pants aren't cheap - $55 bucks :o The good news is I've had 'em for over a year and after many wash cycles the pants look and perform like new.

I'll have to look into this, Lisa. Thanks.
I tend to wear Under Armour 9" length BoxerJocks and relaxed crew t-shirt beneath my mesh jacket and pants. If I wear my Icon denim jeans (with asphalt technology w/o the liner) or daily jeans, I wear Forcefield Pro pants beneath them: http://motorcycles.about.com/od/gearreviews/gr/ForcefieldPants.htm (http://motorcycles.about.com/od/gearreviews/gr/ForcefieldPants.htm)
after what happened last week...........................anything made by fieldsheer!!
One thing I failed to mention in my response above...LOTS OF ANTI MONKEY BUTT POWDER too!!!
Now, I can step away knowing I've provided entirely too much information. Haha. [roll]
Without a doubt: my hydration bladder ('water bag' just sounds awful) in my Ogio backpack. It's a 2 liter bag by Platypus and it stays cold in the laptop sleeve of the bag (Ogio Less Drag). [thumbsup]
UJ's Rev-it phoenix jacket is the nicest textile/leather combo I have seen for protection. I think it will replace my well used dainese laguna seca perf'd jacket this summer.
I've started carrying a small hydration pack on rides, with some ice and gatorade, works great even in mild weather. Thanks to Cajun for the idea [thumbsup]
Vanson Vent Max jacket [thumbsup]
Cold beer in Muenster. Ah... what was the question again? ;D

I also have a pair of their leather/textile pants. Both rock! [thumbsup]

It has a skull on the pocket -but
there is NO SNAKE coming out of the eye socket...
Only a pussy would wear somthing like that! [laugh]
<edit> ...and to stay on topic: I like almost any mesh jacket. Not picky.
Has anyone ever tried either of these boots:

The Sidi pair are new this year. Both cost about the same ($220-ish). THere's no doubt they'll flow air but I wonder about durability in a crash.

Love the Sidis & can vouch for crash-worthiness :o [roll]

I've got the un-vented model of those A-star boots.
They seem to hold up to crashes just fine. [thumbsup]
I love my Vanson Vent Max but it was not the right choice for riding home yesterday..
Underwear aka BVDs ;D

whoa, whoa, whoa! May I be the first to congratulate you on the single-most bizarre mental picture I've had all day... All week, probably.
Now as far as the Fieldsheer stuff, love it but I have not seen their mesh shirt. Gotta link?
Its all black mesh and long sleeved. I think you've
seen it. I put patches on it. I got it from Pam Glesson
At her warehouse off Manana two years ago.
Sorry I don't have a link.

Tres, is this shirt similar to the one-piece mesh liner in tracksuits?
My Under Armour heatgear is being stressed tested to the max this Spring...I hope it holds out through Summer.
It's a black rough mesh that would chafe if worn while
running.
