i'm assuming the visor is polycarbonate.
i don't see why not, but would like to hear some feedback before i try it. only have 1 visor and no replacements avail.
i have an airoh tr2. its the only helmet i have ever found that fits correctly. more importantly, its the only helmet i can wear that doesn't give me a horrendous pain in my temple after a few hours of wearing it.
problem is that its only available overseas and now apparently discontinued. Its a clear shield but now has a slight scuff mark that's slightly in my view. doesn't wipe away and i'm hoping i can sand and polish it. could this be bad in any way?
I'm sure you can find someone to tell you the optics will be off, but I don't know....
Test it on an area that isn't in your field of vision?
Just called 3M tech line and they say probably not a good idea.
What size TR2? I bought an XL and it doesn't fit me quite right, we could probably work something out. Not willing to part the visor only though, the helmet is brand new.

thanks. i guess i'll have to live with it now. if it becomes really bad, i guess i'll try it then.
I used rubbing compound on my shark visor after I scratched it. It polished up well, but your scratch might be too deep
