my opinion is that it was INCREDIBLY easy to report as a copyright/trademark, counterfeit clothing item.

and, yanno, they're faking gear without license from the trademark holder, is there *any* reason at all to believe that the armor is actually rated as described, or the thing has been crash tested, and all that quality is as described?  i mean, they're trying to SELL the stuff.  they're not going to say "We're not like those OTHER Chinese counterfeiters!"

they could be a legit gear maker, becasue they are selling it as an "old  times style" aka its not an original.

Now as to quality of the leather... eh. Theres a reason why theres only a few big names in gear. A*, Daniese, Icon, technik is making its way. JR is pretty good (used to be terrible).

I bought one similiar on ebay more than a year ago without knowing that it was a knock-off until I received it. Mine came from Pakistan and I bought it from this seller on ebay...

I'm not a gear expert, but when I compared it closely their leather quality is actually better and thicker than my Santa Monica jacket that cost 799.  The armor is also thick, but I can't tell if it's CE approved.  The armor is soft, but thick and somewhat similar to the ones you find in Firstgear.  I have not crash-tested this jacket so I'm not sure if the stitching or the armor will hold up on.  The only real complains I have about their jacket is that it has a thinsulate lining, so it can get very hot and it does not vent well.

IMO, for street riding this jacket is more than adequate.

I hope this helps.
Regards,

Caveat emptor-buyer beware. I've seen it on there and if you can only afford that stuff then it is what it is . Certainly wouldn't compare to the Dainese made Ducati leather. I know the price is tempting but I looked at leather jackets at a mall store that was run by someone from India or Pakistan and although the jackets looked good from 20 feet away, when I looked them over they were shoddy in comparison to the kind of leather I'm used to buying.I guess I've spoiled myself with the best and won't settle for the rest. I know not everyone can afford the best but in the long run if taken care of, the best will last for so many years like new and the fit is so much better.
